I love going here for lunch! It's one of my favorite lunch spots. Despite the busy crowd during lunch (around 12:30PM), the service is always fast and quick. The staff is very kind and polite. If there is a wait, it is usually only 5-10 minutes tops.

The prices are great for lunch. For the lunch special, I usually get Thai Salad with Ginger Sauce. It's a little small, but definitely fresh and they give you a fair amount of sauce. I also like to order the Little Basil Spring Rolls. They are the best out of the appetizer options. They are served with plum sauce and the texture of them aren't like other spring rolls. I can't even describe it, but it's definitely a good thing.

Out of the lunch special entrees, my favorite is the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken! They don't cheap out on the ingredients and they even put cashews in it. It really adds to the flavor.

As for drinks, I love their Thai iced tea! It's not too sweet or bitter like other places I've gone to. They are also served in cute little mason jars.

Although this place is a little cramped at times, the restaurant has nearby hooks where you can put your coats or bags. This not only helps you, but it allows service to run...

Lovely eatery serving authentic, tasty Thai food in a simple, no-frills space. I stumbled into Little Basil with a friend for a quick, casual Friday dinner after getting off my train from DC. It seemed quite unassuming from the outside, tucked into a little side street with minimal signage and a pretty limited flow of people (seems like most of their business comes from pick-up and delivery vs. folks dining in), but it was phenomenal. The service was super efficient and friendly, and we were in and out of Little Basil within about an hour and a half, largely extended just because my friend and I enjoyed yapping away.

The menu included most of the American Thai restaurant classics, and everything was prepared remarkably well. I had their pad see ew with tofu, which was fantastic; the noodles had a slight chew and really soaked up the sauce, and the tofu was quite flavorful. The tofu did seem a bit cold compared to the rest of the dish and the sauce was a little sweeter than I was accustomed to, but it was still a very tasty start to...

The food was delicious, the environment really nice, I came here as a recommendation and I wanted to invite 2 friends, the guy that attended us was nice and polite but at the end when I paid, we walked out of the restaurant and the guy who attended us, followed us in the street and stopped me asking if he did a bad service and showed me the invoice with the suggested tip because I didn't leave the suggested amount, he came with a pen too for me to modify the tip and leave more money. This was very rude, you don't know my economic situation and why I couldn't leave more money as a tip, follow a client in the street like if I left without pay was pathetic and very low. Will never visit this place again when visit the city. Next time tell the client when is still sitting in the restaurant that there is a suggested amount to take a look, but never go and follow half block away from the restaurant, specially when I paid and I left a tip, I left what I could afford. Very bad...

Underwhelming… food didn’t taste good. Only thing I liked was their gyoza. If you go for their lunch special, it’ll come with soup/salad, and choices of appetizer (spring roll, gyoza, dumplings, etc) but otherwise, I don’t recommend because you can get better food elsewhere. Service was great though, waitress was attentive and friendly. The beef noodle soup’s noodle to broth ratio was off. There was too much noodles and broth was mid. My friend didn’t like her squid because she said it didn’t taste fresh, but frozen. The food here is not terrible, just not great. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items…

I live right down the road from here and it’s me and my boyfriend’s all time favorite place in the city! The panang curry is TO DIE FOR!! Their lunch special is awesome!! On special nights we get the pineapple duck curry cause it’s the best thing on this planet I swear on everything you have to try it!! We go here almost 2-3 times a week sometimes cause we just can’t get enough of it! Not to mention the amazing ambiance, I loveee how dimly lit it is at night!! Such a vibe with such amazing food!!! Such sweet wait staff aswell!! Shoutout to Penny and Emmy ❤️
