Worked on the fourth floor 1992-93 at PC Magazine (Ziff Davis prior to being bought by Softbank) as an editorial researcher/fact checker and news writer. Good central location and plenty of bars with happy hour food (I knew them all so I could stretch my food budget right out of college ;-) around this location. Close to Grand Central and Penn Station and the Lexington Ave. subway line. Have good memories of working in this...

Best Sandwiches in Town. Best Hospitality they treat you like family as soon as you walk in they Greet you with a smile and very Polite . They also have the best Lean meat they also have side orders. I had the Pastrami on Toasted Wheat Bread with a Touch of Honey Mustard and Macaroni salad. It's a place to go...

Bruno Catalano: TRAVELLERS on Park Avenue “physically incomplete but feels emotionally whole” Here’s something new on Park Avenue! Patrons of Park Avenue (POPA) presents 9 monumental sculptures by French sculpture artist Bruno Catalano @brunocesarcatalano. ‘Voyagers’ (Travellers) is a series of nine monumental works installed along the Park Avenue divide from 34th to 38th Streets (from May 2024 to May 2025). Catalano’s bronze sculptures, characterized by their distinct fragmented form, have become a beacon of contemporary art, illuminating the themes of travel, migration, and journeying that are intrinsically woven into the human experience. Each figure, while physically incomplete, feels emotionally whole. These sculptures, with their substantial sections missing, are a metaphor for the artist’s own feelings of incompleteness caused by his extensive travels. They invite us to reflect on our own journeys and the fragments we leave behind. This outdoor exhibition will be accompanied by the gallery exhibition, Bruno Catalano: Travel to New York, at Galleries Bartoux @lesgaleriesbartoux 114 Wooster Street in Soho from May 18 to June 18, 2024.
