Rosie's Kids Cuts — Local services in New York

Asked for a clean up/something similar to the picture in the white chair and/or a surfer haircut. The one in the car is what we got. Not only are the bangs too short, which is the first thing that was cut too - typically that should be the last, but the haircut has no shape and looks like a modified bowl cut. I felt like nothing we wanted was listened to and she just cut however she decided. I'm really disappointed that for $50 we got an overall not styled and bad haircut. If what we requested wasn't something doable or that the hair dresser was comfortable with, that should have been noted. Rosie is an absolute GEM! I've taken my son to others in the city and Brooklyn who are considered top notch, but none of those come close to the perfection of Rosie's talent. I don't write many reviews, especially glowing ones, but I had to this time. It's so hard to find someone to do great cuts for kids. She was able to keep my two year old engaged and still while practicing patience and grace. I feel like I learned parenting wisdom just watching her! The space is really fun too! She's just the absolute best. We will forever be going here, and schlepping all the way from Williamsburg....

My 18 mo son got his first hair cut with Rosie this week. She was so responsive when I had scheduling questions, and she was completely unfazed and a pro cutting my son’s hair.
