San Pedro Pharmacy — Local services in New York

This pharmacy has been my pharmacy since they opened around 1990 i loved all the people there the owner Jay and the workers Miriam and Josie they later went o a little farther away to a bigger place I never have a problem with anyone there no regarding my meds etc. I always call on time knowing that one prescription is a control substance that I can’t missed because the withdrawal symptoms effects are horrible for 40:years never a problem new people got adapted they know and know your health problems but this las Saturday the inimaginable happened when I called about this medication because I already spoke to the clerk on Thursday and Saturday they told me he didn’t work there anymore that they won’t give my medication because ID was not the time. Before they used to give me like 2 days before the exactly date so now I just don’t have the medication the clerk was rude and almost telling how irresponsible I am because I was supposed to have medication. When this problem happened my dr never complained she just issues a prescription for two or three pills. This was a weekend for hell I couldn’t called my dr and this guy didn’t know anything about the medication or the withdrawal it was my problem not his. This is the kind of medication that send directly to a hospital or psychiatrist hospital I spend those 2 days feeling horrible I haven’t experienced nothing like this before. I used to love this pharmacy but after this experience I am going to change I don’t want to deal with this clerk and this experience never more. 40 years going to the drain but this change I have and need to get over. Some people are very callous and they are not a people’s person he never tried to figure out how to help me he was in combative mode against and older person who could be 9th but my mind work perfectly I didn’t imagine anything the other clerk was there for long time always very helpful and thoughtful not now. While this was THE pharmacy of the neighborhood before all these new ones have been popping up and their desk workers are kind and great, the times for this pharmacy are not realistic for anyone with a regular work schedule or simply not retired and their pharmacists are known for having a nasty attitude. It's sad to see a neighborhood staple not just lose out to new business around them but also be unwilling to do anything about it.

Edit: while there is a reply to my review stating their hours are from 9:30-7, I was told today that they close at 6:30 by multiple employees. As well, Saturdays, with shortened hours, is not enough for those who are not retired. I have a letter for the manager of the company, however there is no contact info...

San Pedro pharmacy is the best pharmacy in the area that I have been to. They provide amazing service and huge product selection. No wonder it has been pharmacy of choice for the community for years and years. There are many new pharmacies popping up around in the are but no one can beat the super service and product selection of the pharmacy. They take care of you like you are their family.
