I don’t even know where to start with this review. On Sunday September 12th I went here to get my sons hair cut before school started. I made an appointment for 2pm got there at 2 for them to tell me they were 20 mins behind schedule ok fine i waited outside because it was so crowded inside. I came back in 20 mins later for them to say they still were not ready. I scheduled a cut, wash and style. They sat my son right after someone else they did not clean or wash down the car that my son sat in. When he got up he was COVERED in hair that wasn’t his ! GROSS 🤮! He got his hair washed and after I had to blow dry his him because nobody did it and I didn’t want him to go outside with wet hair. After blow drying it I seen my sons hair cut was all messed up I was so annoyed already with everything else I went home and fixed it myself. Nobody took Covid precautions nobody was wearing a mask fast forward to September 15th, my family and I are positive for Covid we have gone nowhere else...

This place is an absolute nightmare! I took my two kids here for what should have been simple haircuts—a basic trim for my daughter and a proper cut for my son. The result? Both left with awful, uneven haircuts. My son’s hair was a complete mess, and my daughter was so disappointed she left in tears. To make matters worse, after paying $100 for these terrible cuts, I left a $5 tip, only to be rudely berated by the receptionist for not tipping more. Are you serious? Overpriced, sloppy work paired with rude, entitled service is unacceptable. This place demands tips they don’t deserve while delivering substandard results and treating customers with zero respect. I have Never experienced what I have today . My son who will be turning 7 next Tuesday / I went into the city just so my son can finally get a hair cut at Sharkey"s . Instead when my son saw the sign @72 Street he felt disappointed , so we took a walk over to the supposed to be new location and we saw that it is under construction . I have sent out a message / absolutely no one has taken the time to answer. I won't be made a fool of once again Sharkey's .
