This was the worst hair salon experience I’ve had in my life. It’s not nice at all inside and I couldn’t see barbicide being used for any of the tools. I arrived and the guy cutting my hair pointed me to the sink and told me to get my hair washed. A different person (a lady) very very aggressively washed my hair. Then told me to go to the chair. He put a gown on me and started sectioning my hair in big chunks. He was ripping my hair apart at the ends because of the tangles and each time the hair was slapping my face. He was so aggressive with the comb it was actually very painful. There was no detangler or cream used. So he made a few cuts wet. Then told me he would dry it and finish it.

No heat protectant was used. He blasted the hair dryer on my hair, giving me a “blowout” with my hair actually steaming the entire time. He made a couple of more useless cuts. Then said I was done. I think online it priced the haircut as $75. When he checked me out he didn’t ask if I liked it or really say anything.

He charged my card $107. There was no option for tip.

My hair is now completely fried and it looks virtually the same. For $107.

I arrived at 3:23 and was done by 3:59.

I met Rada and Eli earlier this year. Since then, I have had about 4 sessions of Rada doing my highlights and Eli cutting/styling. I started with about two inches of broken, dry, and brassy hair. I told them my goal was to have a very light blonde bob. I honestly thought it would never happen because my natural hair is very dark and was so damaged. Now, I’m the blondest I’ve ever been thanks to Rada, my hair is growing strong and thick, and super easy to style thanks to Eli. Both are always very knowledgeable, sweet, and patient. Before they do any work, they let me know exactly what the process will be so there are no surprises. They take the time to cater to each clients needs without rushing (which I love). I finally found hair professionals I can trust to give me exactly what I want. Yesterday was my first day at Eli’s new beautiful salon and I love the modern, sleek look. This company operates on predatory charging behavior. I was charged 40 dollars over the price listed on their website and even though I politely contested I was given an excuse that they increased prices. I had a reservation through their website to show them where it clearly listed the agreed-upon price. Do not come here unless you demand upfront as soon as you walk in that you will be paying the agreed-upon price. If it was 10 dollars then I'd be more forgiving but it was absolutely ridiculous to pay 100 dollars for a trim, with quite subpar service. I realize there are so few reviews with most of them saying nothing but kind things- I usually have no complaints with hair stylists but I didn't want someone else...
