Tutu School Long Island City — Local services in New York

We did our very first Tutu School class this past Sunday for the “Princess Party Event” and my girls (5yo and 1yo) had the best time! My sister has had my niece attend the school before and invited us to celebrate my niece’s birthday. The “Princess Party Event” included decorating crowns, warming up with some recognizable songs and movements, meeting Elsa (dancing with her, singing with her, and each child getting to speak with and be close to her for what felt like a great amount of time compared to a Disney meet and greet, and pictures). There was also decorating cupcakes with icing, a variety of sprinkles, and little candies. The space is beautiful and well kept, Amy, the owner, did an amazing job for this event with the execution and overall thoughtfulness of each activity. She’s also super sweet! Lastly, whoever the Elsa actress was, was also amazing and sang beautifully! I’d write a separate review for her too.

Our daughter has been at Tutu School LIC for 1.5 years, and it has been an incredible experience all around! Ballet class is one of her favorite parts of the week. We love the owner Ms. Amy and all of the teachers - everyone is so kind, passionate, and GREAT with little kids. The studio is a gorgeous space and always kept really clean (and I will admit I’m a germaphobe!). The Bravo Bash recitals are phenomenal - they make it super fun and low key (no additional classes/rehearsals required, short performance time slots, teachers are on stage with the dancers), but it’s still a full production with beautiful costumes and stage sets. An adorable space, with great teachers with the yougest caretaker & me ballet class in Long Island City. Classes start for toddlers as young as 18 months the keep the kids moving incorporating ballet, streching, movement, animals, prop (ribbon, flower & wand) activities, bubbles, storytime and coloring. Plus the cutest part when they whisper & yell 'I love ballet & thank you for the magic' 💝. My son and I enjoyed our time there and look forward to taking more classes with Tutu school...
