Honestly I wanted to give 2 stars because the technicians were extremely nice and efficient but everything else sucked so much. I can get examined by machines anywhere, but service matters. The doctor and the lady I saw right before the doctor were so rude. The lady before the doctor kept shoving my hand and head when things weren't positioned. When I asked a question about my eye possibly being a lazy eye, thinking she was the doctor because she acted like it, she basically ignored me and told me not to tell her anything that wasn't true. When the doctor came, she was pretty rough with my eye and raised her voice at me to stay still when she had a whole cotton swab in my eye. Told me I might need laser eye SURGERY without telling me why and to worry about it later. Talked about my eye in medical jargon and didn't want to explain when I expressed confusion. Barely wanted to tell me my degrees and refused to provide me a prescription unless I paid or made another appointment for it (in 6 months). Wanted to understand more about blue light and new glasses and was basically pulling teeth to get information out of anyone. If I can, I would give 0 star!! When she applied the Dilated pupils to my eyes, she did not inform me that I will feel very sensitive to lights. And after that, when she used the super strong lights to examine my eyes, she used her hand to push my forehead and told me to roll my eyes and do not move my head. I did what she said. But because she kept pressing my forehead so hard, I can’t stop moving my head. She screamed at me and blamed me so badly as a child. I told her my neck is hurting cause she pressed my head so hard and I can’t even control my head by myself. She did not accept my opinion and still thought she was right. Another thing is: she told me that I should come back to check my eyes every 6 months other wise I will give them too many works to do in one day. I told her because of the pandemic so I waited so long to come back to check my eyes. But it’s not professional at all! You are the doctor and you should consider what your patient’s situation, then you can make the judgement, instead of blaming your patient in the first time. A awful experience! I am surprised with so many bad reviews on this page, as my experience was quite efficient and right to the point. Good service, and Dr Liao is great. No nonsense, gets right to the bottom of your issue. Problem is with the way they overbook her. I waited quite some time to see her due to the sheer volume of people showing up, either with appointment or as walk-ins.

I typically come back to Dr. Liao for most of my eye issues. She explains clearly and quickly why a new medication would be beneficial for me, and she administers things so quickly and painlessly that any procedures I had were over almost before I was aware that it had begun. Her manners were kind, and she seemed personally interested in my case. I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with the fear and discomfort created by any eye issue, as she is good at what she does. Not the most hospitable, but I really could care less when I couldn't see through my right eye due to a glaucoma issue. ...
