Honestly I never write reviews but this building deserves it. Today I came in to view a unit and the broker was extremely rude. He literally didnât allow me to take a video of the first unit to show my wife (she couldnât come in because she got sick and I told him that right away as the appointment was under her name). This guy goes on to show me another unit where I had my wife on FaceTime before entering the unit so that I can show her the apartment since he wasnât letting me take videos(I actually liked the apartment and was really considering moving into this building instead of the aro building). The dude goes on to tell me âplease hang up the phone and put your phone away, the videos are on the website if you want to show your wife the unitâ. I literally put my phone away and just walked out the unit because the guy started getting on my nerves at that point. As Iâm waiting for the elevator, this guy has the audacity to come up to me and speak to me as if everything is okay. He goes on to say âyour appointment was at 1 PM and you showed up at 2, I have other appointmentsâ, to which I replied under my breathe âno it wasnâtâ (my appointment was at 2:30 and I showed up at 2:15). I said it under my breathe because I was trying to avoid altercation with this scumbag. He goes on to ask me with an attitude âwhat did you say?â. When I tell you, it took all of me to hold myself back from this guy in that elevator, I really mean it. What an unprofessional personâŚhe completely threw my train of thought off the apartment and I was actually considering living here. After this terrible viewing experience, I go home to my wife, and onto the building website and when I click on the unit I was interested in to show my wife the video, the video doesnât work. I will 100% not be living in this building especially after reading these reviews and by the way, the building is 100% outdated and the only reason I even considered living here is because of the neighborhood. What a terrible experience, my advice to this building, explain to your broker that he doesnât pay no oneâs rent and that heâs a total nobody to command potential tenants on what to do. I will update this post tomorrow with his name when I find his card in my car.
Update: the guys name is...

Our family has been with Brodsky since 2017, starting our NYC life at One Columbus Place (W 59th - also a great place). When we grew to a family of four, we moved to South Park Tower in January 2021, and honestly, this place has been the perfect home. Itâs a genuine gem in an amazing location.
The entire staff here is truly exceptional. They're like familyâwe know everyone by name, and they make every day pleasant and welcoming. This incredible service extends to maintenance: Plumbing, electrical, etc. they're on it same day, or max the next day. This kind of efficiency makes a massive difference in living in NYC and is something we deeply appreciate.
As for amenities, the building gym has everything (treadmill, elliptic, staircase machine, a Peloton, etc.), weights, squats, smith matchine, etc. and the indoor pool is a real luxury with a lifeguard always on duty. There is a rooftop with a 360-degree view of NYC / Hudson River (great to impress family and friends haha) âperfect for watching the Fourth of July fireworks or just grabbing a breather.
Our 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit with a balcony is absolutely drenched in sunlight. We love the beautiful Central Park view from the second bedroom, and our living room/balcony gets a wide-open view of Downtown Manhattan (no skyscrapers right in front of us over Hellâs Kitchen). Plus, having multiple A/C units keeps every room comfortable.
Weâre grateful to the entire team, they've been a huge part of our NYC journey. We would have stayed at the building forever, but a work transfer to Florida is pulling us away from our NYC home. Nevertheless, we know where to look when we are back in town!! Thank you for the...
Read moreI have lived in South Park tower since May of 2020. I must say that itâs a very nice rental building, most units have balconies which is not a very common option in NYC. I currently live on the 43rd floor and the views are breathtaking. Having a gorgeous sunset everyday from your windows is priceless.
My apartment was gut renovated, so when I moved I was the first one to live in the apartment, and everything including the fridge, dishwasher and stove and microwave were new.
Staff including door/lobby staff are really good, responsive and friendly. Maintenance staff are also decent and responsive (usually 24 hours).
Pros: Renovated apartments, amazing views, balconies, nice gym and indoor pool, super spacious apartments considering this is NYC.
Cons: When a maintenance issue requires escalation the contractor is a bit slow which is a bummer, but since the apartment is freshly renovated, there are not many very major maintenance issues. Also, one of the negatives was the increase, which is somehow understandable, but it was a super major increase third year, although it has been stable for the past two years. Missing a washer and dryer in the unit is also another drawback, but over manageable because the laundry room is also renovated and fully functional.
Unfortunately, I am planning to move, just because of cost issue. Because the increase in the rent and personal financial issues are leading me to looking for a cheaper apartment. All things considered, I would have loved to be able to stay in South Park Tower. Very decent...
