Harmeet at The Jewel Boutique worked with us to design the perfect ring, from helping us find a sustainably sourced sapphire for the central stone to working closely with us on a setting, ultimately sourcing 30 surrounding diamonds. In addition, he helped us to design and customize a matching diamond band that would fit seamlessly together with the ring (band not shown, as in safe until the event). And because we spend a lot of time outside skiing, swimming and hiking, we needed something that was both beautiful and lasting. He made sure this design would hold up under all conditions. Worth noting: Harmeet often worked with us across time zones, from multiple locations, which we really appreciated, sending us photos of the progress and making himself available when we needed him to finalize. Harmeet is a perfectionist -- yet he also can work with your budget. One more thing I loved; once all the hard work was done, the final product was appraised at 25% above the cost of materials. I cannot recommend The Jewel Boutique enough! Harmeet truly saved the day, and he is an absolute pleasure to work with. After having quality concerns and several delays with a different jeweler, I found The Jewel Boutique online. The combination of incredible reviews and stunning custom pieces inspired confidence. When I met Harmeet, my planned proposal was fast approaching. He guaranteed and followed through with an extremely fast timeline to fit my schedule, and at a very fair price. Through the process, he was exceptionally communicative, kind, and reassuring. He sent me the CAD and the pre-casting mold images very quickly and gave me regular, clear updates. The final product is a stunning, custom engagement ring that my now fiancée and I are over-the-moon in love with. Our design was unusual, and seemingly challenging to perfect, but Harmeet came through with an absolutely flawless result. Although personable, Harmeet disappointed on many levels professionally. I do not recommend The Jewel Boutique. It took him over two years to do extensions on two necklaces. They were supposed to have matching crystals added but first Harmeet ended up extending a random necklace that was not even mine - he took my own crystals and put them on the cheap costume design necklace! Apparently he intended to use those crystals on my necklace but got very confused. His apology was that he is human. Got it. But he made very little effort and in the end, used normal extensions on both crystal necklaces. Yet I had paid $250 for those plus a tiny necklace extension. He was not planning to even reimburse me until I reminded him that I had paid for the crystals and in the end only gave me $60 back and kept one of my old fashioned clasps that he took off my necklace. Sadly, the absolute worst experience I have had with any jeweler. Friendly but...
