Definitely wasn't worth the time or money. At $40 a person I was legitimately embarrassed for having my friend go to this. The concept was interesting but poorly and lazily executed. The "Experience" is one room with music and projections on the wall. The intention is to have everyone sit and watch the show which plays on a 45 minute loop, but despite having a reservation system there were not enough flat beanie bags provided for everyone so a significant number of people have to sit on the hard tile floor.
As for the projections themselves, a few were kind of interesting to watch, but others seemed very lazy with long looping segments, mostly static images, and blurry low quality visuals. At one point there's a painfully long segment of soft flickering white lights while a thunder sound plays. It was an eyeroll inducing moment as I realized they were just padding the show with low effort and low cost moments to make it feel longer. This was actually the part where we walked in and my first thought was "Did we really just pay $40 a person to watch something I could have done at home with a flashlight and my phone?"
I also feel as though the room was kept uncomfortable on purpose to encourage people not to linger too much beyond the intended 45 minutes. The room was fairly hot, not enough seating, etc. I would also strongly advise against bringing small children. There were a lot of little kids running around playing because they were bored.
There were a few cool moments but unless you're looking for a spot to cuddle on your date (assuming you like cuddling on a hard tile floor) you can probably skip this until they can, at the very least, work out some of the...
Read moreI almost let some of the negative reviews stop me from attending, I am so glad I didn’t. Overall I thought it was an outstanding experience. Someone complained about the lightning and thunder loop but it was one of my favorite parts. For us the venue was the perfect temperature, not hot at all. We were there on a Friday afternoon and it was not crowded with ample bean bag chairs to go around. The only criticism I have is that small children are allowed to attend and it was very apparent that they are more interested in running around and bouncing the large balloons than watching the show which was a bit annoying. It would be nice if there was certain times allocated for teens and adults only. This is certainly a unique experience that was very relaxing and a nice break from the crazy energy of the city. If you are the person that is gonna complain about spending a few bucks for something unique then maybe this isn’t for you but if you like experiencing different things…. I would not hesitate to check this out. TIP: we watched the full 45 minutes from mid room and then moved to the very front and watched again which was a very different experience! Loved it and...
Read moreWell... It's one of these things that great as a gift, but if you bought it for yourself you may end up thinking that it doesn't worth your money. We loved certain parts, some we thought were like filters in between, not emotionally appealing. We also thought that some themes were so cool but were cut short and transitioned to other theme too quickly. I think you can get something similar with VR glasses and some patter generating software synced with music. But overall it's pretty cool experience, something different, creative and very fresh from usual forms of...
