tmpl Hells kitchen, without a doubt, the best gym experience I have ever had, and itās the perfect fitness sanctuary right here in Hell's Kitchen. It doesnāt feel like a gym; it feels like an exclusive, high-tech wellness center. From the stunning, modern design to the mood lighting, the atmosphere is genuinely motivating. The equipment is absolutely top-of-the-line, meticulously maintained, and there is an incredible volume and variety of machinesāI have never had to wait for a squat rack or a cardio machine, even during the evening rush. They have dedicated zones for every kind of training imaginable. The real differentiator, though, is the full-sized indoor saltwater pool. Having an Olympic-style lane pool in the middle of Manhattan is a luxury that makes the membership worth it alone. The locker rooms are equally premiumāspotless, spacious, and equipped with great amenities. The staff and trainers are consistently professional, welcoming, and helpful. If youāre looking to truly invest in a premium, results-driven health experience in NYC, tmpl is the gold standard and easily earns my five-star...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI attend boxing classes taught by Eric Nieves as well as do personal training with him. Eric is not only an awesome personal trainer who tailors our sessions to my needs (improving foundations in boxing), his group classes are also the best. The classes are pretty technical and I feel like I am learning so much there. Not only am i hitting my weight-loss goals and seeing rapid improvement in my fitness level, but most importantly i am seeing rapid improvement in martial arts thanks to him. Eric is the #1 reason I go to TMPL regularly and I always look forward to group classes + PT.
That being said I would still recommend TMPL to others who may not have the same focus. The facilities have many amenities and are consistently kept clean. TMPL's front staff is consistently friendly and engaging and outside of peak hours ive never really had to wait for anything. I am really pleased with my membership at TMPL and look forward...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI joined this gym primarily for access to the pool. During my first swim, I noticed what appeared to be a cockroach or water bug in the water, along with visible rust along the poolās edges. This raised concerns about the facilityās overall cleanliness and sanitation.
After I pointed out the bug, it was removed and killed with the help of staff and members ā but other swimmers were allowed into the pool immediately afterward. This may indicate a lack of caution or adherence to proper protocol, particularly since the presence of such a bug in the pool could itself be a sign of insufficient maintenance.
Iāll follow up once I learn more about TMPLās pool hygiene and maintenance procedures ā specifically, whatās being done to ensure that we arenāt literally swimming...
