The customer service at this location is absolutely horrible! First, they made people wait outside in a freezing weather, creating a line outside of a store, had to wait in line for 30 minutes to make a simple return. Then sales associates completely ignored my presence and the whole vibe was just weird. Finally, when I was able to get a hold of one, I told her that I bought an item online and want to return it at the store, had both papers with receipt saying that mailing back or dropping off an item at an offline location is an option! She took my receipts and my item to “inspect” and then came back 2 minutes later handing it back to me and in a very condescending manner saying that she can’t accept it since it was a sale item so it couldn’t be returned neither online nor at the store. I just said okay and left disappointed. But then, I read my receipts again where it clearly said that I can return my purchase and steps to follow to ship it back. Which I’m glad I did try, despite her telling me that it couldn’t be returned and shipped back. The website asked for a photo of an item and then gave me an option for a refund. I’m extremely annoyed that I went to soho for nothing, waited 30 min in a freezing cold in line, to just have been told “no, you can’t return it, the item is unrefundable” to only find out later that apparently it is refundable (otherwise there wouldn’t even be these receipts with steps to follow to ship it back) and having to travel to fedex office to drop it off! As someone who doesn’t always feel comfortable in high-end stores, I felt immediately welcomed at Toteme. The atmosphere is refined yet inviting, and the staff strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability.

Julie, in particular, made my visit unforgettable. I mentioned my curiosity about the store’s stunning couch and decor, and she took the time to indulge my interest and share the backstory of the decor as well as the brand. Her knowledge and warmth put me completely at ease.

Since that first visit, Julie has become my go-to stylist, so much so my friends are now asking to meet her. She has an incredible ability to understand each of our unique taste. She has curated pieces that feel both timeless and uniquely "me." Her thoughtful recommendations have elevated my wardrobe in ways I couldn’t have imagined. As I've spent more time with Julie and her team at the store, I have so much appreciation for their incredible eye for how to style and overall generosity of spirit - they're wonderful people.

Odd experience here, I had come in to try on a few things in person and there was a male SA helping me who was on his phone the entire time. I’m shocked to see so many others had the same thing happen to them in these reviews. It does not feel welcoming at all. I was carrying my items around the store that I wanted to try on until I finally got put into a dressing room. I tried on several blazers in a 34 and they were huge on me. I kept asking the guy working to bring me a size 32 and he kept insinuating that it would not fit me and the 34 was the correct fit for me. My husband finally got someone to bring the size 32 and it was perfect. I will say all of the items in store had already been tried on so many times they looked rough.
