Zumiez — Local services in New York

The merchandise in zumiez is pretty dope. The customer service in this store on the other hand is overbearing to say the least. I was here the other day with my gf and we were just browsing while having a conversation, which they interrupted as soon as we stepped into the store... I was personally approached 3 or 4 times and asked if I needed help. And I simply replied "No thanks, I'm just looking" every single time, and yet they felt the need to keep hounding me and hover around me, making me uncomfortable. It especially bothered me when I was flipping through the skateboards and I was interrupted twice just to try to start a conversation with me or ask me if I'm looking for anything. Sigh. I got so fed up with them bothering me that we left the store even though I was initially thinking of buying something. I've been skateboarding for 13+ years and this store is by far the most annoying "skate" store I've ever been in. And this has happened to me over the years at this exact location. I understand commission based sales....but omg 9 times out of 10 the employees here have been so annoying!!! Their overbearing assistance is probably great for any customer who has never set foot inside of a store (but in this day and age, come on) ... but for the rest of us, please let us shop in peace and believe me...we will come to you when...

I walked in the store to do a social experiment as well as shop I went in as a hobo damn near and was treated as if I was a “thief “ I did that on purpose to see what associate are like in department stores for my Tik tok page my fans chose gummies in queens center mall mind you I live in Staten Island we have a zummies but I was told to do that percific one and I did I was looking around didn’t get any help but once I went to the more expensive items a lot of associates surrounded me and ask if I needed help and didn’t leave until I actually purchased the items I had in my hand which I did purchase they followed me throughout the store I paid $346 for my 2 items and the store clerk and associates was shocked that’s goes to show you NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT COVER !!! overall I live my 3 outfits I purchased just be more respectful when it comes to people who look out of the ...

This ZUMIEZ Store IN QUEENS CENTER MALL Elmhurst Queens New York is awful place to shop especially regarding return and exchange once you exchange you can't return it. How do I know that coz no policy in the receipt? The quality of the items is terrible., the design Gemstone is sticking together not even wash yet! So I decided to return but the manager said I can't return or exchange it. The Tshirt is not cheap almost $40 don't shop here hope what i experience won't happen to you. If I can give zero...
