My fiancé and I were walking by this store and were given a small free sample bag of soap by the men working there. We thought that was really kind and decided to walk into the store and check it out since it is new and looked interesting. As we were looking at soaps, we were approached by one of the men who insisted that we wash our hands with one of their sample body scrubs. Then he took us over to look at their skin products and had me try a sample of some of them. He then told us that the one product was $179 and that it would change our lives so we should buy it. When we told him that wasn’t in our budget at the moment, he tried to bargain with us and started throwing in some of the $49 scrubs and moisturizers in with it for free if we bought it. We told him once again that we would have to think about it and maybe come back later because it wasn’t in our budget that day. He told us that you have to think about buying a car or a house but you shouldn’t have to think about buying a $179 product to put on your face. He said if we came back next time and bought something, he “might not even recognize us.” After that, he said that we should not spend the money to travel to Charleston and shop if we didn’t have any money to shop at the stores. For a while, he continued to bargain with prices even after we told him “no” several times. We were very disappointed with this interaction and we never want to go back. I wanted to leave a review so no one else falls into this scam, as we looked at reviews for the other location in Las Vegas and people had had similar bad experiences. Most importantly, do I see any difference in my face after purchasing $163 worth of skin care products from a man named Benjamin, and using them for 2 weeks??? The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I was merely passing by the store. ZERO interest in skin care products. I live 4 hrs from Charleston and was spending the weekend with my only son whom is in College. Benjamin had an overbearing sells tactic. Similar to a car salesman in a drought. He claimed he had a product for "lazy" ppl. As I stated, I was visiting my son and euphoric after 2 months without seeing him. Benjamin's comment didn't bother me until I returned home. I work 120 hrs EVERY pay period. I am a single mother. True enough, I don't spend a fortune on my appearance. But I do spend a fortune on our home and my son. Benjamin misjudged me horribly. He took my simplicity and mistaken it for laziness. Regardless, that was a HORRIBLE sales tactic for ANY female. I spent $163 to basically shut him up so we could leave the store and I could get back to my weekend. He continued to nudge me towards the chair to apply more products to my face and tried to start on my son. Willing and dealing. Pulling out a calculator. Asking ALL sorts of questions. I literally couldn't even think how many weeks were in a year because he was moving from one topic to the next so quickly and I was in shock at the price of the products. HEAVEN!!!!! As a former TV Investigative Producer, I’m always cautious and Skeptical when taking advantage of a special or introductory offer. I saw the offer on Facebook and booked an appointment! Hannah and Jacob made this facial a dream! I already have an LED unit and product from a previous salon, so I knew what the results would be before I started. Hannah was sweet, informative and made sure my questions were answered. No pushy sales gimmicks, no pushy questions, just pure relaxation and worth EVERY PENNY! Not only were the results better that I expected but this was the BEST FACIAL I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I’ve already booked my next one. They did confirm the appointment 4 different times which was overkill but knowing that most consumers flake or become NO SHOWS, I totally get it!
