I went there today to exchange my previously purchased shoes. I walked in with a friendly smile. There were two women at the counter. One of them was extremely sullen. After telling me the new size of the shoes I wanted to exchange, she started the process in an unhappy manner and then refused to tell me the current price of the new size. I asked a question and she yelled at me. I got very nervous and started crying because she was yelling at me. Because I was crying, she continued to yell at me even more, and even the cashier couldn't calm her down. She yelled at me and said she was treating me like this because I have dark skin, even though I didn't mention anything about her physical features. I came in looking for some styles with the Dynasoft midsole (most comfortable and resilient midsole I've found for my feet), unfortunately they only had 1 style that I didn't like. Was talking to Dalton (new guy) and he realized pretty quickly I'd done a bunch of hunting already and probably knew more about that particular shoe than he did. He didn't give up on me though and talked me into checking online to see if they could order anything I liked. My husband and I owe a cake studio and work in a kitchen where we stand on our feet all day. We went to look for new shoes for him, he has been wearing his running sneakers to work that he wore out and wanted to replace. I had no intention of buying shoes for myself, but this amazing employee Mel helped us both to find the perfect shoes. I have always wore Danskos in the kitchen and it’s like standing on a wooden block. My back always hurts. I tried on these shoes she suggested and it was like I was standing on a cloud.
