I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new Turkish food truck called Berliner Doner House and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The moment I approached the truck, the aroma of spices and grilled meats drew me in. The menu is diverse, featuring all the traditional favorites—kebabs and delicious wraps, all made with fresh ingredients.
I decided to try the lamb kebab wrap, and it was absolutely mouthwatering! The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, while the fresh veggies added just the right crunch. The homemade sauce is to die for—definitely the highlight of my meal!
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking the time to explain the dishes and make recommendations. They truly made me feel like part of the family. I also love that they offer vegetarian options, making it a great spot for everyone.
The atmosphere is casual and inviting, perfect for a quick bite or a meal with friends. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for authentic Turkish cuisine with fantastic flavors, make sure to check out this food truck—you won't be...

We ordered the lamb and beef döner wraps, and they are huge.
Instead of serving pre-cooked, reheated slices, they cook, slice, and serve the meat fresh as original Turkish döner, giving it a juicier, more flavorful bite. They also offer chicken döner if you want to mix it up.
The sauces are a must. The white sauce adds creaminess, while the spicy red sauce packs a kick and boosts the flavor profile. Combined with the soft yet slightly crunchy bread, fresh greens, fries, and pickles (ask for “all in”), the perfect balance of textures.
This isn’t your traditional Turkish döner, it has more of a German twist. So if you’re expecting an exact replica of the Turkish street food classic, you might notice some differences, but the taste is still solid in its own way.
While it’s not the cheapest option in town, the quality of the meat and freshness make it well worth the price. Charleston doesn’t have many places offering döner, so it’s great to finally have this addition. Definitely recommended. We will be back.. Ah, try the sarma (desert) if you...
Read moreAwesome shawarma wrap be it chicken or lamb/beef. The portion is very big hence the $12 - $15 price range. If you don’t eat much best to have them cut the shawarma in half. Also, just like the authentic doner in Europe, they put crinkle fries in the wrap. I wish they have a side order of fries instead because once you mix the fries in the wrap, you don’t taste the crispiness of the fries anymore.
I had their chicken and rice but not much of a fan of their rice. The rice taste okay. I just like the chicken and rice at Istanbul Shish Kabob across the street.
They have maybe a table or two for me people to sit on but they may be occupied all the time from people waiting on their food. So best not to plan to eat there. You can probably take it to the food court inside of the tanger outlet to sit instead.
Very friendly and nice people. Good service and good people. I eat there every week. And the food...
