It’s All In the Biscuit — Restaurant in North Charleston

My family and I were walking by while at Tanger Outlet and decided to stop and look at the menu, yesterday ( 08/23/25). The girl that was working had three young ladies at the window and they were engaged in a conversation. One young lady said to her, “oh you have customers “, she proceeded to say, “no I don’t, you can tell who’s going to buy and who isn’t “. Then proceeds to continue her conversation, all three girls looked at me and my family. How rude and embarrassing, what was it about us that made you feel we wouldn’t purchase anything? After they left, we continued to look at the menu, she finally decided to greet us. Honestly after what she said, I didn’t want to purchase anything, but we did. We got the peach biscuits and the ones with the pecans in it, which was my favorite. I paid for my order and didn’t leave a tip, which I usually do, but her comment rubbed me the wrong way. My family didn’t look homeless, dirty, ghetto, or broke. So I’m not sure what would make her utter such words. Okay so I was on a walkabout waiting out traffic when I came across this place. I decided to try the Taste of the Sea biscuits. I thought I could wait until I got home. The biscuits didn't make it out of the parking lot 🤭 I returned three days later with my husband and daughter and we left with Slice of Heaven, The Goat and Cinna Heaven. So, I’ve been wanting to try these biscuits ever since I saw them posted on facebook a year ago. Was finally able to carve out some time to make it down to Charleston.
