My wife and I walked in Henry's Jewelry Store together she is my witness. I told her how great the store was. She just retired and we came here for a month. When I walked into your store no one was there except employees. They were all talking to one another. I walked into the back of the store with my silver chain & broken clasp. The woman at the back counter nicely directed me to the front desk area. There were three women there the one with black hair wanted on me. I said I purchased this silver chain from your store last year. And would like same size chain and style and maybe a bit thicker. She measured it and said it is an odd size and of 17" We have 16" and 18". I said but I purchased it here last year and with that she yelled at me, "We don't have it!!" I felt her anger toward me when she yelled and so did my wife. I called over to my wife let's get out of this store.
I was wearing a Gulf War Veterans Hat and I am a 100% Disabled Veteran. I just lost someone in the War in the Ukraine. I decided to still put my old necklace on and lost the pendent later that day. I know that is not the fault of the store.
However, The person who gave me the special pendant for the necklace was the same person who died in Ukraine. I was trying to feel closer to him and didn't want to lose the pendent. Sure wasn't expecting someone to yell at me in a non busy store in off season.
Your employee gave me no service and yelled at me in an angry way and tried to sell me something I did not want because she was too lazy to order it, suggest fixing the clasp on necklace. Or just plain being kind and nice to a paying customer.
if you didn't have the necklace at least BE Kind about it. I was suffering a major loss and you guys just increased my suffering.
There are lines of people just waiting for a nice good job like the one this woman has. I know many such people.
In all the years I have been a customer even at a McDonalds I have never ever been treated so badly at a store.
It is our last week here so sad to leave the shore trying to digest someone's uncontroled anger. I even Gave the store ample time to respond privately never did. Eventually posted on FB and they posted and took down response in which they further blamed me that I may have my story wrong in how I approached the desk wrong. Really! Please Never Go into this Store Ever. Most unkind Person I ever met.

Read moreWorst customer service ever! I just got off the phone with the "wonderful" sales lady MaryAnn, whom we bought our jewelry from at the beginning of this summer. I informed her that my daughter's ears were inflamed after putting their "real gold" earrings in that I got for her birthday at the beach. She responded by saying i need to clean out her ears, and asked if I am going to blame her that now her earring holes are shut. I wasn't going place blame but to ask about their product guarantee. She was being completely nasty and disrespectful about the whole situation. I asked for the manger, and she said she doesn't care what happens if we don't come back and that since she's not the owner, she doesn't care what we think. I told her she should have apologized first and talk about return policy before going off on how busy she is and giving me all that BS, and that I am interrupting the sales of another customer. Worst service ever! My Alex and Ani bracelet charm already broke, the "real gold" earrings gave my daughter an ear infection. Please don't waste your time there.
Follow up: I was able to get in contact with the owner & store manager. They handled my morning experience with much more patience, knowledge...
Read moreI just picked up a diamond ring yesterday that I had Henry's repair. It was originally bought there by my now deceased sister many years ago and has great sentimental value to me. I brought it in for the jeweler to reattach a small piece that had broken off. Nothing needed to be done to the diamond in the center, which originally sparkled so beautifully and colorfully, but now is dull and even seems to have a dark spot in the middle. I'm crushed. I called the store and they told me to return and speak to the jeweler, but I do not have faith they will admit this cannot be the same diamond. I will post an update. Everyone seemed very nice, but this is truly upsetting. Last night I couldn't sleep well because I was so distressed. I know that ring, especially since it was a gift from my sister. I had marveled at how beautiful the diamonds are, particularly the middle one. Now I can't even look at it due to the cloudy stone in the middle. It's completely obvious the stone isn't the same one. I put my complete trust in this jeweler because of all the great reviews and now I...
