OC Escape Rooms — Local services in Ocean City

I do not understand how this escape room as such good reviews. I hope to act as a truthful reviewer.

OC Escape was honestly one of the most boring, least engaging rooms I’ve ever done. I would consider myself someone who enjoys escape rooms and I have done multiple all up and down the northeast. While the room had an interesting design and special FX, it did not have a single engaging puzzle.

We did the “hardest” room that OC Escape has to offer. The puzzles in this room were simply not puzzles. They were just the answer handed to you. We got out with 15 minutes left and I was incredibly disappointed. We had done a Liberty Escape Room only a day before, and had a much better experience. Don’t waste...

When I walked onto the ocean city boardwalk, I was immediately drawn to the OC Escape room. The workers were so friendly and answered all of my and my parents’ questions (they were completely confused by the whole idea, but the workers were so patient and really made sure my parents knew what to expect). The rooms were extremely clean, and the format of the game was like non I’ve ever seen before. I think they even said that the “pick your own route” escape room was unique only to the OC escape room, which made it truly a one of a kind experience. I’m coming back to Ocean City this weekend with my husband and our two kids to do the escape room! What a perfect family...

We did the Time Machine escape room and found customer service to be lacking. We asked for a hint and a lot of time went by before getting the hint. My biggest problem with the room was when we did the buttons on the wall in sequence a wheel underneath was supposed to turn giving the next set of clues but it didn't turn. We did this several times and nothing happened and we ran out of time. It's one thing to run out of time because we couldn't solve the puzzles but when the prop doesn't work or isn't triggered to work we run into an impasse.
