Moorlyn Square Theatre — Local services in Ocean City

I’ve been coming to ocnj ever since I was a kid and I remember going to this theater as a kid and was very excited to go back now. But to my disappointment when I got there I was asked for id and did not have it on me(I’m 20 btw). I told the worker there that I just didn’t have it on me and that I would bring it next time I was there but they still refused to let me in. At this point I haven’t been going there for 5 years I don’t have to go there for the next 5 years (if make enough money to be open for the next five years). My one star is in hope the owner sees this. The theatre was great and I want this to do well here. The one star is the seats were WAY too tight. You made the choice to save $$ on quality seats and put in quantity. As a 5-8 man, I was extremely uncomfortable with the person in front of me leaning back and the people behind me kicking my seat for the whole movie. I can’t blame anyone because it was too tight. These days if you want us to come out to the movies it can’t be uncomfortable. If this business closes please don’t blame OCNJ. If the seats are fixed (less and better) this business...

I’m so appreciative and thankful to the Harbor Square family for reviving the Moorlyn Theater! This place is truly a gem, and it’s wonderful to have a local option to see movies right on the island. The location couldn’t be better, sitting right on the boardwalk with an amazing vibe that makes the experience even more special.
