This is one of the newer motels on the island and location and the newness of it's rooms is what get it a solid 4 stars. The room itself is nice. Nice comfortable king bed, huge TV, mini fridge. huge bathroom and very clean. The room itself is small, about 12ftx13ft and the bed took up about 75% of the room. Not a huge deal breaker considering what you're looking for. Really clean too although we had to kill quite a bit of fruit flies in our room over our 2 night stay. Is the location good, yes. Is the room clean, yes. Is parking 'included', yes although it's off property. Is the room comfortable, yes. However, there are a few key elements that are missing to make this motel the best value on the island. There are hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels and wet clothes but there was no line in the bathroom to hang up wet bathing suits. There was no microwave. Microwave is a must have in any motel especially one of a beach town. There are no chairs or tables in the room so there's not much lounging to be done unless you are sitting on the bed. And lastly and most importantly price. This motel is expensive for what you get. Yes it's newer construction and I had a comfortable stay but the rate for these rooms are high. Unfortunately, so is everything else on the island so the market has dictated this rate. What I will also say, is that this was one of the very few places that had availability but that availability came at a very high cost. The service was ok. They are still working through a few procedures as they are newly operating and we experienced that during our stay. Again, my stay was comfortable but even with it being new and without table and chair(s) no microwave and the size of the room it would be hard to justify staying here at the going rates again. If rates go 10%-20% below island market rates and this establishment becomes far and above and head and shoulders above any other motel/hotel on the island hands down. In an instant this would become the best accommodation in regard to...

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.
I booked a vacation for my girlfriend and me for our yearly trip to Ocean City, NJ, and it was completely ruined by this hotel. We made a reservation, only to find out we couldn’t check in because we’re under their age restriction of 25 years old.
I called the company to see if there was a way around it since we were already on our way and were more than willing to put down a deposit. I was told flat-out, “That is not an option. We strictly follow our policy, and no refund will be given. You can try requesting one through Expedia.”
Because we were already en route, we had to scramble and book a different hotel last-minute just to have somewhere to stay. Then, when I went through Expedia, suddenly the hotel changed their story and said they could accept guests under 25 with a deposit. Really?
At that point, it was too late—we had already paid for a new hotel based on what they originally told us. I called the company again and asked for a cancellation and refund due to the misinformation. I also tried contacting the property managers (and still haven’t received a response).
On top of that, the deposit amount kept changing every time I asked about it, and their phone number was even out of service at one point. Everything about this place seemed shady.
The management is almost impossible to reach, gives conflicting information, and clearly doesn't care about guests. This whole mess cost us over $500 and completely disrupted our trip.
I will never book with this company again. Do yourself a favor and...
Read moreI don't understand the petty complaints about this place. Some people just seem determined to find something wrong. The location is excellent. You're at the beach in just two minutes. The rooms are beautiful and spacious enough. Remember, this is a hotel, not an Airbnb apartment or house, so you should expect closer quarters. Still, it was more than enough room for my wife and me. The bathrooms were great, and there's a shared outdoor shower area to rinse off sand after the beach.
For those complaining about parking, there's a lot right behind the hotel with all day parking for twenty-five dollars. Most hotels in the area struggle with parking, so having a lot that close is a big plus. As for late checkouts, it's common for hotels to charge a fee if you don't leave on time. You're reminded of checkout times when you book, so if you're late, that's on you. They need that time to prepare the room for the next guest.
The rooms were also very clean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. There's a huge flat-screen TV in the room. It’s quiet, and there’s a nice outdoor seating area to relax.
This hotel is also very close to plenty of eateries, and the communication was...
