This has always been one of my favorite courses as we come every year, but sadly it’s gone downhill lately. It’s getting more and more expensive, being one of the most pricey courses on the boardwalk, but we aren’t getting anything in return. The course is dirty, some things are broken, and this very last time we went in August of 24, the waterfall wasn’t running at all, so it just looked abandoned. With the water not running that made the last hole completely broke because the last hole requires the water to be flowing because you’re suppose to hit it in the water. Without the water every single person had their ball get stuck in the empty rocky basin. Sad.
Also, the course closes way earlier than all the other ones.
On the positive side, it’s still a fun course if you can overlook the flaws. I see a lot of reviews bash the fact that the greens are soaked and wet from the slides above, but that’s actually our favorite part! It’s a great course to cool off on on a hot day! It’s got plenty of shade, and drips of water from the slides to cool you off even more. The few holes in the sun have us always excited to get back to the shady drips!
It’s also got a fun view of the water park, with lots of joyous screaming as your background noise.
The free game hole is also incredibly challenging, in a good way! In fact, it’s the only free game hole no one in my family has ever gotten of any of the courses on the boardwalk!
I really enjoy being on this course, and I hope they are able to turn this ship around because this course deserves to stick around! I hope long enough to see someone land...
Read moreHate giving negative reviews as it does effect small business. However the attitudes of the staff was way under par. The desk person telling me the price of 8$ on the website is only if you order online yet you can’t buy golf tickets on the website and she continues to charge us 9$ which is the highest cost on the whole boardwalk. I called customer service and they said it is always 9$ I told them they should look at their site and then tell me that. She asked if we like our 1$ a person back. Iam like why you think Iam calling. The course is poorly managed. It if trash cigarettes buts and food on it. Not to mention many holes are water logged from the water park. Make sure to wear good shoes as the walk ways or slick due to the mildew and water. Got our 3$ back with no apology for attitude or...
Read moreWe’ve golfed at all of the mini-golf sites on and off the boardwalk in Ocean City, and I’m sorry, but parts of this course are downright hazardous. There are various stairways you must use to go to some of the holes and most of these were covered in water with puddles on the walkways as well. This is dangerous. Water drips down from the water park features and the golf course waterfalls splash on some of the greens, making them waterlogged in places. Most of the challenges were in making sure you didn’t slip and fall as you went from hole to hole. The best parts of the course were the views of the ocean when you were at the holes up high. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but be careful on this...
