The Male Store owner at the Pappy's Market was very aggressive when telling to leave the store, then saying the store is closed several times quickly exit the store. After hearing the owner of the store say exit their store, I asked an employee and the owner of the store when did the store close and when will the store open, the employee didn't respond and the owner of the store constantly said exit the store now, the store is closed for you, they said talking loud. Questions were asked about the reason of telling me the store is only closed for me and not the other customers, the owner didn't provide a reason and persisted to tell me to leave. His angry responses caused me to refuse and ask why, when asking an employee when the store opens, the male store owner began pushing me out the store and began shoving when near the door the telling me to leave the store constantly. His angry and aggressive behavior was very unprofessional and not very friendly enough as many of the reviews mentioned about the employees and the owner. The owner did hear me say while running in the store, move ugly when entering. That wasn't a reason for them to not let me in the store and then begin pushing me out of the store. The owner didn't ask any questions about why those words were said and didn't receive confirmation if I was talking him or not. He didn't provide a reason why he was telling me to leave, my accurate guess is because the spoken before entering the store. He should've admitted that was the reason, he is very unkind for not providing a reason for leaving and began pushing me out the store when asking for the store hours. Not good, we could had a reassuring conversation, he really caused a very disapproved reaction from a customer. His behavior was threatening and intimidating, that caused a defensive and slightly attacking reaction. he should tell customers why they must leave, a reassuring response could've happened. Saying move ugly could be offensive, but those words were threatening and my actions weren't attacking neither aggressive. We could've had a calm and reassuring talk about the reason of saying those words...

If I were to describe Pappy's Market in one word, it would be 'treasure-trove.' Nestled within Oceanside, this magical place offers a cornucopia of beer, wine, and liquor so extensive, you'd think they had a portal to the beverage dimension in their back room!
Their selection is so all-encompassing that if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll somehow conjure it up like a drink-loving fairy godmother. Pappy's doesn't just stop at the liquor, though. Oh no, they have snacks galore! From nibbles that comfort the soul to unique munchies you never knew existed, Pappy's snack range could rival a vending machine convention.
Pappy's staff treats hospitality like it's an Olympic sport, and they're going for gold every day. Junior, Merrick, Miller, and the gang don't just remember your name and preferences; they remember what you thought of that limited-edition beer three weeks ago. Ivan and I often find ourselves as enthusiastic guinea pigs for their new offerings - an honor akin to being the first to step foot on a newly discovered planet, but tastier.
The cleanliness at Pappy's Market would make even the most obsessive-compulsive germaphobe breathe a sigh of relief. It's as spotless as a mirror in a Windex commercial. Moreover, the Pappy's merch isn't just a haphazard afterthought; it's top-notch quality and would make a great souvenir or gift for any visitors.
Just a stone's throw from the beach and boasting a decently-sized parking lot, Pappy's convenience is only rivalled by its charm. Whenever someone visits, a trip to Pappy's is as mandatory as a tour of the Hollywood sign.
So, hats off to Pappy's Market. This local gem is the Cheers of liquor stores, where everyone knows your name, and they're always glad you came. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor, swing by Pappy's. You might just find your new...
Read more12 Jan 2:20pm Went to buy bait for $5.99 and when I went to pay it rang up to almost $7.00. I ask the cashier that didn’t seem right and why was it so much. Casher said we charge 30 cents for use of credit card. I said it would have been nice to know I had the option of cash or card. Casher said well everybody/other places already do it. I said well everybody else has it posted “cash price and credit card price”. Cashier said well we don’t have to post it, everyone should already know that. Well it bad enough as consumer we already pay interest to the bank to use a credit card and retailer are charging us to pay their interest fee for use of credit card. Make you wonder if retailers are claiming the interest paid to bank for...
