It's such a great place. If you receive snap benefits. (Food stamps). Then u are in the right place. There is a table you go to. I guess cashier's they ask how many food stamps you would like to spend at the market. So let's say $30. They run your card through. They give you your $30 dollars in tokens. And then ....they give you another$30 dollars free. So if u spent $60 at the market. U actually only spent $30 out of pocket.they will match what you want to spend up to $30. All the vendors are great. U buy something and they will put an extra one or two in your bag. 😊 They have fruits veggies meats barbeque lots of other products. Music. I found the husband and wife vendors from last year. They sold huge 3 pound bottles of honey. They were 20 tokens. ($20). But I actually only paid $10 because the other $10 was free. I go all the time every Saturday. Oh and when the summer farmers market is over...they put out the fall crops at the fall farmers market..it's open at 8-2. Once you get there time flys by sooo fast. Oh the honey vendors also sell honeycomb in small containers. It's a wonderful experience. I'd never tasted one before. I got home and cheated. I didn't want to make sopapillias from scratch. So I use mission thick soft tortillas. There the best. I poke a hole in the center. Put in hot oil turn over. All done. Lol. I have no shame. I put honey all over it. It's the freshest honey I've ever tasted. I hope you drop by there sometime. 😊. So many different vendors this year and some I haven't seen in a while there's a new one called the original oil shop and they sell hemp inhalers or just happy inhalers things like that the hemp one is for anxiety there's always so dressmaker there she's a real tiny Asian woman and she makes every one of those beautiful dresses by hand good prices I bought one now there's the Twilight series I guess that's what it's called in Ogden at the same time as the farmers markets just right there in the amphitheater did you have a sign up what is and is not allowed there and you do need a ticket to get in I guess it's some kind of music thing not sure I noticed a lot of new people some people walking up and down the aisles in would look like a pair of underwear and a t-shirt some would terribly short shorts and that's really terrible because this is a family thing you know to go out to and I saw a lot of people with their dogs fighting under the tables because it was so terribly hot they didn't bring water for their animals they didn't bring shoes I'm not asphalt is so hot please people when you take your dog somewhere please provide them the necessary protection for their feet and give them plenty of water other than that I hope you enjoy your time at the...
Read moreIt gets hot so I recommend visiting within the first two hours of opening (hours 8-1). Great food and music every week. The raspberries and strawberries look bomb, but they're too spendy for me so it's hard to support local. Yoder's honey and jam are delicious and this year they're making donuts. There's nothing better than a freshly made hot donut. And they're huge! Also, the Silent Windchimes are cool! They've got all kind of shells, different types of wood, and something that looks really crazy called a devil's claw. They are priced realistically at $35 for most and they have a huge selection every week. I always have to stop by and see them, they're just amazing. We buy them for gifts, and they're local which I love to support, they've even made me one with everything I wanted. The people are so nice, genuine, and the guy that makes them...
Read moreGreat place to get fresh local grown organic Vegis. JERRY & NiNi's are the best. They have a large garden on their property and ALL of their produce is grown by them, I have toured their gardens in Bear River City (North of Brigham City ) myself personally. I've done this to get early produce before the farmers market officially starts and after it ends. You can also tell it's homegrown because none of their produce looks like "factory grown". Some of the others at the market selling are obviously reselling wholesale produce, such a fraud to make a buck. Unfortunately, the Farmers Market Ogden City management evidently doesn't bother to tour the facilities where the Vegetables are claimed...
