I have been coming to this store for many years. When my family has a guest from a foreign country come visit us, I buy a box of chocolates from here to give as a gift to the guest. When I buy the chocolates, I am careful that the outside look of the box is in good condition as well as having it wrapped nicely. In the past, when I have come to Seeās and mentioned that the chocolates were a gift for a foreign guest, the Seeās workers have always enthusiastically and cheerfully taken extra care. However, yesterday, when I went to the store, the worker, who I have never met before and who doesnāt know me at all, quickly made false judgments of me. She spent much of the time as she was interacting with me making jabbing, negative judgmental comments to me. Prior to speaking with her, I was perfectly happy and relaxed and just taking care of a simple task. This worker interpreted my desire to have a nice-looking gift as me being stressed. She made comments as to how my day must have been and how my day was going to be, what life looks like for meā¦describing me as some kind of stressed-out individual. I wasnāt stressed. It is normal to me to pick out gifts that do not have small dents on the outer box and to choose nice gift bags to put them in. Maybe this worker felt that having gifts look nice is not something to value. I donāt know. She spoke with such blatant, critical judging of me. She felt free to say whatever thing she wanted to me and seemed to be unaware of how rudely she was speaking. I noticed she was trying to speak with a kind voice, but her words were cutting and judgmental. It was such an off-putting experience. It was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I know the name of this employee. It is recorded on my receipt. I wish that her supervisor/manager could be made aware of this and speak to her about her uncalled...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never met a more kind person than the woman working at Seeās candies in Orem tonight. Her name badge read Luisa and she deserves all of the recognition that Seeās has to offer. My family and I have gone to Seeās for special occasions since I was a little girl. Tonight, was a bit different. My husband and I are pregnant with our first child, and I had just been at the hospital for hours of testing due to complications. I stopped by Seeās to try to pick myself up a bit. Luisa greeted me, offered me a sample, and started on the half pound box. I asked about the marshmallow patties, since I had never seen them. She described them and then gave me one patty to try. I thanked her and mentioned that I was picking up the back since I had testing done for my pregnancy. She then asked me how I was, and I told her how it went. I will never be able to repay this kindness. She was right about the marshmallow patties as well. They were delicious, so I added a cup to my box. I know it seems small but the gesture was so kind, so simple, but it hit me like a ton of bricks. She went above and beyond with customer service. She genuinely cared and asked when I would get results back. It was maybe a 5 minute interaction since there were customers in line behind me, but I will never forget it. I thought about the woman on the Seeās candies box and thought that Luisa embodies that woman. The kind of person that just cares. Iāve never encountered a company more well represented by an employee. I thought about it, teary eyed, all the way home. I hope that management is able to see this and recognize or compensate her efforts. I will be returning to this location for gifts, special occasions, and more because of this interaction. This truly is the best chocolate out there and now I know it has the best...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTHE WORST customer service!! Their employees are slow and they soak up as much time as they can with their current customer to avoid helping other customers in line. When I asked if they had another employee in the back to help myself and other customers, they unkindly remarked that she was unavailable. Their current customers (before me) took as much time as possible. They had no concern for me or other customers behind them and the employees only enabled their entitled behavior. People like this create a nasty entitled society! I will not be giving See's Candy my business again period! I will permanently be visiting Mrs. Cavanaugh's for friendly, faster and prompt service where they don't hang onto serving one customer while the rest of customers wait to be acknowledged and wait for the self-indulgent customer to end their transaction. They had an extra person in back, and the lines were out of control. They do not know how to properly service a chain of customers. They only know how to serve the entitled and self-indulgent time consuming customers. I will no longer buy from See's Candies. Mrs. Cavanaugh's is where I will indefinitely go for highly quality and equitable services to...
