I purposely went here on a weekday when I knew it wouldn't be as busy which is why I found the service appalling. All the employees were huddled in a big circle happily chatting away without even pretending to care about customers' needs. I work customer service so I don't blame them for speaking to one another but the proper etiquette is to still ensure that the customer is being helped. The fact that I had to walk all the way from one end of the store to the other just to get somebody to open a fitting room for me is absurd, they were all happily chatting away and didn't even notice me walking over. Again, I purposely went on a weekday when they weren't busy so there was no excuse for the poor service. Then when I was checking out I told them that I needed to return some things and it was like I had just told them something about rocket science. Nobody knew what they were doing and the manager (I presume) was on the phone and walked away just to leave her clueless employee to help me. She also told me that next time I should return my items at another AEO because they can't accept things from online which I found hilarious because 1. I've worked at an AEO before and you never tell a customer that, AE is very open with returns for a reason and 2. most of the things that I was returning were already on their racks so it's not like I was returning things that had just been released. I usually try to justify bad service because maybe somebody's having a bad day or they were busy but over here there's no excuse except for a rude manager who only hires people with zero work ethic. The deals are great but I'll never be returning because I don't want to support a store that treats customers like this, especially knowing the values of AEO as somebody who's worked for them as well as has shopped from them for...
Read moreOkay first off I have never have experience such a horrible experience if I could I would put a zero star me and my daughter bought 5 pair of jeans and shirts .the receipt didn’t print so then the manager asked did I pay for the item once the worker flagged her to come and see what the problem . I was fine with her asking once or twice but she raised her voice the third and continue to tell me I didn’t pay for the stuff when me and the worker both seen approved and it just didn’t print out my receipt so then she ask me to pull up my bank account and I show her the purchase and she still calls the whatever people to tell each number of each item that I bought after that she proceeds to tell another worker to try to print the receipt which she does the Manger doesn’t apologize at all or anything the other worker does apologize but I’m just already over this lil racist bs if this is what AE represent then I will never shop at this brand again cause I didn’t deserve to be embarrassed when I paid for those items and I returned it and...
Read moreThe store and deals itself are great, but the gentleman working there was HORRIDLY RUDE! I walked into the dressing room, tried at least four doors and realized they were locked. I walked back out, saw him, and politely asked him if he could open one of the dressing rooms for me. He said they were all unlocked. I told him I tried several and they were locked. He said, “Well I don’t know which ones you tried, but I am telling you they’re open!” I was SHOCKED! He walked in and pointed to the very last dressing room on the left side and yes, it was slightly ajar, indicating it was indeed unlocked. I had not gotten that far. But it was one unlocked dressing room out of two rows worth! He was so rude. I am not used to people being so rude, I didn’t even know what to say. My kids were standing outside the dressing rooms and when I came out even they apologized to me for how rude the...
