I don't know where to begin to explain how badly we were treated when we went to Texas de Brazil located at 5259 International Drive, Suite F-1, Orlando, FL 32819. We were a party of 4 that just visited this location and, contrary to every other Texas de Brazil I have ever been to, this location was by far the worst! Allow me to paint the picture for you. As I mentioned, we were a party of 4 with a reservation. There were so many things wrong that we brought to the attention of our waitress and ultimately the manager. Yes, that bad. When we arrived, we were escorted to our seats. They took us passed the salad bar, to the opposite side of the restaurant, and to the outer left side of the building alongside the outer wall. 1 - it was colder in that area being that it was cold outside, and they ac was on making it even colder than normal. 2 - We walked by several tables that were empty and cleaned off to accommodate 4 people. It was already 7:30pm and the restaurant was not full nor were there people waiting to be seated so we did not understand why we could not be seated closer to the front, the salad bar, or even in the main dining section. Our waitress (Guiliana) was great. She was very professional and pleasant to us. I also liked that she did not disappear, and we didn't have to look for her if we needed anything. She was very attentive. Once the servers began coming around with the meat, but we did not get served. The servers walked past us, to the tables behind us, and they even stopped at the table right next to us but then walked away without coming to us. This was odd because we all had our tables tabs with the green side up and visible. After all, that is the entire theme of the restaurant, but to no avail. We notified our waitress, and she came back and told us she addressed this issue, but it took several more rounds of meat servers to come around and ultimately, we had to call them, stop them, and flag them down for them to begin coming to our table. However, even after this, not all the meat servers came to our back corner, and we did not get to eat all the available meats. The meats that got to us, all the way in the back corner of the restaurant were medium and medium rare. Nothing came to us medium well or well done. We asked the servers about bringing well-done meat to our table and they kept telling us that it would be coming around soon, so our friend waited, and waited, and waited with no results at all. One of us cannot eat meat unless it is well done for health reasons and so we notified our waitress about this issue as well and she said she would take care of it. As time went by, 3 of us were eating and our friend was not eating because they continued bringing medium and medium rare meat. No well-done meat came to us despite the fact that we asked the servers and the waitress. We spoke to the waitress again and let her know that one of us has hardly eaten anything because her simple request for the servers to bring her well done meat was totally ignored. After waiting so long my friend got very upset, angry, and HUNGRY that she no longer wanted any of their food. We spoke to our waitress again and she said she already spoke to the manager but she will send him over so we can speak with him directly. Long story short, we were all so disappointed with the service that we all stopped eating and left in disgust, especially knowing that one of us had not received a full meal and had a horrible experience. She felt embarrassed and belittled as she sat there waiting as the same servers came and went knowing she asked for something, and they just walked past her. They just left her sitting there with no food. We drove over an hour to be there, looking forward to a filling meal and it turned out to be a waste of time, very frustrating, disappointing, and horrible restaurant exp. Please spread the word to family and friends about this location and their lack of care for their customers. I do not recommend this location. Thank you...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in, we were hit with an absolute barrage of unwelcoming stares from the hostesses like we were intruding on their private space. It wasn’t just a “lack of warmth”—it felt like we were being scrutinized, judged, and blatantly ignored as we stood there. They didn’t even smile. They just glared. The vibe in this place was colder than the meat they serve. The meat service was beyond disappointing. The first 5-10 minutes were tolerable, and then suddenly—BOOM—back to the same cuts of meat over and over. It was like we were in some kind of Groundhog Day nightmare, where the same round of meats kept coming to our table, with the same bored guys wandering around like they were doing us a huge favor. We were seated at the back corner of the restaurant, far away from anyone else, and it was clear that nobody wanted to come near us. It was like they were trying to punish us for something we hadn’t even done. I specifically requested lamb and flank steak. That’s it. Simple, right? Nope. I had to request the lamb FIVE times. Yes, FIVE times! It took over 20 minutes each time, and when it finally arrived, it was thrown onto my plate with the kind of attitude you’d expect from someone who hated their job. He literally slammed the lamb down and muttered something under his breath before marching off. I’m pretty sure he was gossiping about me to another staff member while we all just sat there in shock. The worst part? I still didn’t get lamb every time I asked for it—sometimes I had to remind him THREE times in one sitting. I think I got water twice during the entire meal—once when we sat down and once at the end when I had to beg for it. How is it possible for a restaurant that serves meat on skewers to forget basic things like water refills? When we did manage to get the staff’s attention, it was like we were asking for a gourmet experience. I had to beg for sauces, sides, and refills, but it was like they couldn’t care less. And don’t get me started on the drinks. Every time I ordered something beyond water, I had to wait an eternity. I’m pretty sure they were brewing the drinks from scratch in the back with the slowest process imaginable. The waiter was not only forgetful but was so clearly overwhelmed (or maybe just lazy) that he never remembered anything we asked for. Then came dessert, and—shockingly—it was another disaster. We had asked for Togo boxes THREE times, and guess what? We never got them. I even asked a third staff member after the second one flat-out ignored my request. And of course, we had to remind them that we hadn’t even gotten the boxes yet. How hard is it to just take a box, fill it with food, and give it to the customer? This was just the cherry on top of the disaster sundae. But wait! The fun didn’t end there. After all the chaos, we finally asked for the check, and my sister-in-law—who doesn’t play about the disrespect—took matters into her own hands and spoke to the manager. She doesn’t tolerate any nonsense, and she let him know exactly how horrible the experience had been. His brilliant solution? He took the cost of three desserts off our bill. That’s it. For a birthday celebration that went horribly wrong, he just took the three desserts off the bill, as if that would somehow make up for the disaster we’d just endured. Oh, and by the way, it was my wife’s birthday, and they had the audacity to bring her a cake with an unlit candle. I’m still trying to figure out how that happens. It’s as if they put in zero effort to make her day special and then acted like they were doing us a huge favor by bringing out a cake without bothering to even light the candle. Thank you for that stellar “birthday moment.” It was just what we needed. At this point, I felt like I was being pranked. This wasn’t dining—it was a lesson in how to provide terrible service and ruin an evening. For the price we paid, we could’ve eaten at a thousand other places that actually care about...
Read morelet me just say....we've been coming to Texas de brazil for about 15 years. usually for a milestone...birthday, anniversary , etc... It has been about 4 years since our last visit, and if it was like it was the like it was first time we came, I would've never returned. Now...when I tell you that visually.. I LOVE THE WAY THE RESTARAUNT IS...the ceilings, the flowers on the salad bar...just gorgeous...but something has been lost over time. The bathrooms were GROSS....it smelled like a nursing home in there. It was pretty bad. It looked clean, but smelled HORRIBLE. The door popped so loud when you go in, it literally startled me. A can of WD-40 would have worked wonders on it. The chairs in the dining area were beat to death...scratched up, worn looking, paint was coming off. a literal can of spray paint could make them look nice again, make them look like management or the owner cares. The salad bar was a treat as always, but when it came to the meat service, its as if there were NO SEASONING on it. The only exception was the spicy sirloin. We added salt and pepper to season it up a little BUTTTT there was pepper in the salt shaker...but bright side!! there was pepper in the pepper shaker. My husband and I giggled about it and I let the waiter know when he came back to the table. It seemed like he didn't understand ( and I get it, I had to re-read what I typed about the salt and pepper shaker to make sure I typed it right LOL) so I repeated it, and he walked away and brought back a properly stocked salt shaker and my Brazilian limeade...BUT it didn't have the condensed milk...at this point, I'm not going to tell him something else was wrong...I just drank it...it was good limeade...but it wasn't the signature drink I asked AND paid for., so I know he heard me ask for it...all and all...I don't think I will go back to that location (in Orlando) and it will probably be a while before I go to a different location to be honest. There are other Brazilian steakhouses that will get our business. And I know that no one will care, but this place was my first introduction to the Brazilian steakhouse experience... and a little piece of it died. This was for the Orlando location at 2PM on...
