I appreciate the officer at the door today, he spoke and was pleasant. I really cant say that for the floor staff. I was the only one in the area with 3 floor assistants. No one spoke, no one asked if I needed help. But soon realized a plain clothed fake security person was watching me and I made a simple statement, dont harass me, he backed off. Then a female shopper of different race came into the area, low and behold at least she received 2 helpers. (1 female, 2 males) was there and I asked one for assistance, was told he didnt work there, but he use to, (what relevance was that) but then he retreated into the back of the storeroom. I then went to the front checkout area asked for the manager, so someone name James was called, he approached, listened, and even offered an extra 10% off, which I am blessed and didn't need an extra amount off, i just needed help. I guess James thought that was the way to buy forgiveness for his slacking employees. It doesn't take discounts for your customers to be treated fairly, it takes just a simple hello or let me know if I can help you. Actions of kindness goes much farther than discounts. Maybe some sensitivity and attitude training would help. Nike makes billions and they will always, so my comment won't impact them financially, but hopefully the comment will make you realize what line of work you're in...
Read moreI haven't been to a Nike store since I was 13 because my shoe size. I wear a 15 mens and finding shoes is almost impossible. I have resorted to using crocs almost daily as they fit me. With a packed store and only 15 minutes till closing I went to the outlet store and searched for new shoes for both walking and to wear for my new job. After only finding two pairs that fit and somewhat liked, I was ready to leave. Then I was helped by Genesis who went above and beyond. He noticed I was looking for larger shoe sizes. He offered to bring me a selection of different styles and asked what type I was looking for. He brought about 8 different shoes for me to see and try. I fell in love with 2 pairs. He even loosened the laces for me to try the shoes on because I have a very wide foot. All this while the store was packed and almost closing. He really helped me out and made me feel more confident in the shoes I was buying. With my 3 shoes now that I loved going to the register, Rue helped me signup and get a discount with the Nike app. She was super friendly and taught me about the perks of using the Nike app. This store has earned my business for life and restored my faith in the Nike brand. I thank you...
Read moreCentrally located store with good discount prices. Parking is hard to find to when it is busy and trying to find shoes even more. If your a size 7 to 10 shoe you should have enough options.
Besides that they won't have anything. I've been about 3 to 4 times at different times of the day over the last couple weeks and the shelves were always empty, with the exception if the sizes mentioned above.
I spoke with a team member and he said I had to get there early in the morning, when I did at opening the stock was the same. The team member said they periodically stock throughout the day. Today they brought out a cart with about maybe 20 pairs of shoes on it to unload to the shelves. They closed off the isle and wouldn't allow anyone in while they did, then as soon as they were done 2 people rushed the section and took 12 to 15 pairs of shoes.
So I you want to roll the dice and hope that you find a good deal or fight resellers for items that go out as soon as they hit the shelf go for it. If not just save yourself the time and go the Nike at the Premium Outlets right...
