I’ve been riding SunRail since I was a little girl and always trusted it, especially when I worked at Disney World from 2021 to 2024. Yesterday, I was on the P301 from Lynx Central to Lake Mary and my autistic sister got off before me. The doors closed before the train could move and one security officer on board did nothing while I was stuck with my sister’s emotional support dog and no phone service. She had to sit alone at Lake Mary for two hours.
Thankfully, the Sanford Station security officer stepped in, contacted Lake Mary staff, and made sure my sister was safe. The contrast between staff was shocking. I paid for that $4.50, just to find out that written bus driver ID wasn't honered for other bus, Link 8 going from Aldi stop on OBT, near Holden. Bus driver, typed expired on my ticket, even it was written by hands of other driver with his ID 6275, as All Day, with his ID and said to me it was enough to being honored for other drivers.
