Antelope Canyon Expedition (GBP-5) - Nov 11th 2023. Just got back from the antelope canyon tour and I can honestly say it was the trip of a lifetime. Operationally, they were a dream to work with. It is clear that safety is a top priority and the guest experience a close second. We organized our trip directly through Papillon and they were a dream to work with. The sales team (Matt) was awesome, and Leina was so responsive and helpful with pre-departure questions we had. On the day of the trip, it couldn't have gone better!. We were told to meet at 6.35am for pickup, and at exactly 6.35am I received a call from Papillon that our pickup had arrived. They directed us to where the bus was situated and we hopped straight on. Joe was our driver and we had a safe and efficient ride. Pickups appeared to be well coordinated and we were on our way in no time. We arrived to check in where we were assisted by Dustin - what a fabulous character he is. I am a bit of a nervous flyer, but Dustin was reassuring, funny and overall just set us at ease. Lastly wanted to shout out our two pilots, John R. and Andrew P. Again, we felt super safe with these two behind the wheel. The flight was smooth and scenic. This was truly a highlight. I was so nervous with the size of the plane but felt completely at ease through the journey.

The experience itself was overall 10/10. You only need to look at photos of Antelope Canyon to know that it is going to be everything you wanted and more. The ground transport was well organized and we were appreciative that our guides and drivers were all of the Navajo community.

They really do deserve all the 5 star reviews. We flew with them at the Grand Canyon about 12 years ago and this trip decided to go for the Tower Butte tour and it certainly didn't disappoint. Two days prior we were in a total dead-zone in Death Valley and when we emerged I received a deluge of communications on various channels to say they couldn't accommodate our chosen date but offered a number of alternatives (including a full refund). We switched to the night before (which in hindsight was better for us anyway) and I really appreciate their perseverance in trying to contact us. We ended up with a helicopter all to ourselves and our pilot was fantastic. Being a little airport, all the staff at Page were very relaxed and friendly and the whole thing felt like a VIP experience. The landing on the Butte itself was amazing and added a whole new dimension to taking a helicopter tour. Plenty of time to explore and take photos before an incredible take off. We had our schedule changed from the morning to the afternoon and had to scram to rearrange our other tours which had been scheduled for the same day. The reason they gave us was the weather, but it was a beautiful sunny day with 67 degrees. I feel we were just bumped to accommodate others. The views are spectacular. We landed at tower butte and stayed there for about 20 minutes, so the actual flying time is not very long at all, it may be approximately a 15-20 actual flying time although the tour said about 45-50 minutes. The pilot was very knowledgeable and quite professional. The take off and landing was pretty smooth but in relation to the price and the amount of time you actually spend flying it is not what I consider a good value. I feel we spent most of the time landing and taking off, than flying than taking in the amazing views. Nonetheless it was a good experience; the next time I will ask for more specific details of the flying time and I definitely recommend asking about all these details...
