If I could give 1 million stars, I would and it is well deserved. My daughter and her wife went on the Antelope Canyon 10am tour on July 23rd, 2024 and their guide's name was Shook. Since I wasn't there, I can only communicate what they told me. They lucked out when the other 4 people on the tour were 1 1/2 hours late that day, so they got a private tour from Shook. Our family has visited 49 out of the 50 states and have taken many tours in the past. In our experience, other tour companies would have rescheduled the tour or given a rain check with only two customers showing up for a tour. NOT LPACO! The girls got a private tour with an extra hour tacked on to play and jump off cliffs (he used his gopro and jumped in with them, so he could video them falling) for the same price as a regular tour. Not only that, but the owner of the company personally went down to Lake Powell and waited on the late arrivals to get there, so they could still have their tour and he gave it to them personally. They didn't lose their $. This is very unusual and absolutely outstanding customer service. In my experience, I have only encountered one other company like this and that was in Alaska. The kids were so happy with their tour they called me immediately after they got to their car and told me all about it. They were beaming with happiness and excitement about their day. As a mother, it brought me so much joy to listen to their story with Shook. Thank you Shook for being so good to my girls and being so generous with your time! I asked them how much they gave for a tip given that Shook gave them such a great experience and they told me $20. The girls are young and don't make much $, but they gave him all they had on them. I was so impressed by what the girls told me about their day, that I called LPACO to ask them how I could get an extra $50 to Shook. It just so happened, the owner answered the phone and when he heard my story he told me that he loved that the girls were so happy and he insisted on giving Shook the $50 himself on the girls' behalf. How awesome is that?! What a fantastic employer! These days, it is so unusual to come across quality businesses who greatly care about their employees and the product they offer to their customers. LPACO greatly exceeds the needs and desires of its customers and I highly recommend them. They are amazing. I couldn't be happier with the service and the care they put into my girls that day. They felt safe and happy in Shook's capable hands at all times on the water and in Antelope Canyon that day. To me, this is priceless. Don't call any other Lake Powell tour company. I have been wanting to explore Antelope Canyon for a long time now. I finally looked into a tour and found Lake Powell Adventure Company. I chose to go with their company over many of the others in the area after reading through their reviews and looking through their pictures. It is easy to tell that each of the tour guides have a love for what they do. Finally our adventure was this past Saturday (5/22/21). From the very beginning the communication was amazing. They sent multiple emails with exact directions on where to meet, time, what to bring, expect which made the process so easy from beginning to end. Once we arrived we met our guide Shook. He was awesome from the get go. He was easy going and incredibly knowledgeable. It was a windy day so he gave us tips on how to navigate the water until we got into the canyon area. Once inside the canyon it was incredible views all around. We took in the sights but were very eager to get to Antelope Canyon. Once we docked our kayaks and began the walk it was absolutely breathtaking. The further we went into the canyon the smaller it got. Pictures don't do it justice with how incredible each curve and bend changes. It is a must do if you are in the area! Although I own my own kayak and SUP and could have done this on my own, Shook offered a wealth of knowledge that really helped me understand Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and the area much more. It truly enhanced the experience and I didn't want it to end. Honestly, I am already ready to go back and do it again! I will definitely use Lake Powell Adventure company in the future and highly recommend their services. We even stopped by their office and grabbed a few swag items before we left out of town. Looking forward to our next adventure...

My friend and I went on an 8am kayak-hike tour with Mike Collins at the end of May. W-O-W. What a phenomenal trip. I gotta hand it to LPACO for having a perfect handle on trip logistics and overall customer service. From the highly detailed confirmation email I received the day before, to our guide Mike doing a short how-to-kayak tutorial before we got in the water, to how smoothly the entire adventure went...I was (and still am) thoroughly impressed.

Now the tour itself was spectacular. End of May brought crystal clear skies and not overbearingly hot temps. Kayaking is the majority of the trip - about an hour was saved for hiking in the Antelope slot canyons - and the views from start to finish are gorgeous. It's very neat to see a canyon from an on-lake view too. On the way back to our meeting spot our group stopped to swim for approx. 30 minutes...and cliff jump :) Boy was that water refreshingly cold, not to mention so clean and clear. The entire trip I never felt unsafe, our tour group of 10 was well taken care of.

I can't leave a review without calling out how informative, down-to-Earth, and fun our guide Mike is. I felt like I was in a hybrid of history and biology class with how much I learned about the canyon and surrounding area. I soak that stuff up and loved every minute of the education, I wish I'd asked more questions! Mike also gave us recommendations of where else to hike after our trip ended and where to eat in the Page, AZ area.
