United States Postal Service — Local services in Page City Limits

I had my fair share of lost mail and lost packages in the last 25 years of living here. I moved from a small reservation town of about 1000 ppl. Never had an issue of lost packages or misplaced mail there, and it's very rural, lots of dirt rds, canyons, and sand dunes to traverse to get there over 15 miles, and they closed early. I thought Page being bigger would accommodate better. I was so wrong. Sometimes staff was nice, but most times, they are just as rude, as the staff at the magistrate court even when you've done nothing wrong. Especially the older white lady, she says something to you and walks away before you can reply. So rude. And the younger navajo girl the same way. The only helpful person is the young white man. I am always putting mail back into the misplaced mailbox because I'd get someone else's mail all the time, I get medications mailed to me and for 1 month I never got my refills and the pharmacy said they had mail it and even double checked with me my address was...

Moved here a year ago from a much smaller town in Utah (~2500 pop) 1 post-master and 1 carrier. There we had street delivery and/or PO Boxes - your choice. Boxes were delivered by 7AM before the carrier left for street delivery. Whole town, including large surrounding very rural area, was delivered by 3PM, Main Street by 8:30AM. AND they were open and delivered on Saturday! If you're going to force everyone to use a PO Box and you're not required to drive throughout town, BOX delivery should be complete by 10AM at the LATEST. A much lower level of service in this FAR bigger town - somewhat disappointed. The extra star is for the fact that some of the front desk workers have been very pleasant to interact with. A couple of years ago I was traveling around the United States and had to leave from this area so I shipped all of my things all of my personal belongings about $20,000 worth of items that I’ve had forever. Designer bags, shoes, all kinds of stuff I didn’t have any other option but to send it through the post office and the employees at this post office stole all of my personal belongings and they just so happened to not be able to find the receipt and the Manager at that location led me through the system all the way to the postmaster General and I never got any return calls, and I tried to find my things for two years.
