Ordered about April 16th for a pretty big order. Ordered a bed set with mattress, a bed and dressers, a table for 8, couches and coffee and end tables. Places an order with Valarie who was open and transparent about her being new so she went to managers for help. The assistant manager with great glasses went over everything then passed it off to the store manager Who was more concerned about our not purchasing "the good proof" plan that we had to remind her it was a no and to proceed with our order . It was multiple deliveries With our bed set,mattress and dining room furniture were set for April 26. Yesterday was April 26th and moving day. Everything arrived but my mattress! I called customer care who then informed me that it was placed on backorder and it was completely on them as they saw That no one in the system notified me about it. They said I can then Can get whatever mattress. I picked out a new mattress it was $300 More than than was told I had to pay that 300. I said absolutely not I was told you guys would cover that because it was Your mistake. I didn't talk to the store manager who helped me. And I reminded her that she was the one that helped me and messed up. Turns out they got noticed that the Mattress was on backorder The day we ordered it. It went through a total of three Channels two of which being members of management as well as a 10 day Grace period To notify me. Yet no one bothered I found out day of delivery that there was no Mattress. While at first the manager said it was not in their nature She agreed to pull it out of the delivery fee and give me a refund Of the $300. I specified with the store manager that this will not be coming out of my pocket She said yes . The other Manager Ahmad Tells me I would have to pay $24 fee for something. I said I was told I wasn't paying anything He said that the $24 was not a big deal to which I said will you be covering it then. He mentioned he would ask the manager and I never got a response as to if they were paying it. I did complain to customer care to wish they said they would not do it but they would give me a credit to which I Did not want. First he said it was the best he could do at $150 then he later bumped it up to $200. So I'm not sure whether the miscommunication is all I know is I had No mattress to sleep on and a terrible Customer Service experience. Read moreOn September 19, 2025, I purchased a mattress from the Palmdale location. During the purchase, the sales associate, Melinda, strongly encouraged us to buy a mattress cover. When we felt the cover in-store, my husband immediately expressed concern that it felt like plastic and would cause sweating. Melinda assured us otherwise, stating she personally owned the same cover, that it was “cooling,” and that she does not sweat when using it, despite normally being a “hot person.” Based on her representation, we agreed to purchase the cover.
Issue: The product did not match her description. Once used, the mattress cover caused both my husband and me to sweat excessively, felt like vinyl, and even made noise similar to a plastic trash bag when moving. It was the opposite of what was promised.
Attempts to Resolve:
On September 22, I contacted corporate to report the issue and was told the Palmdale manager would call me back that day. I never received a call.
On September 23, I called the store again. The employee who answered was extremely rude and dismissive. She denied that Melinda could have made the statements we heard, despite both my husband and me being present at the time. She also stated that the store would not accept a return, and when I asked to speak with the manager, I was told the manager was “too busy” to come to the phone.
Conclusion: This experience shows:
Misrepresentation: Sales staff will say anything to make a sale.
Poor Customer Service: Staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
Lack of Accountability: Management avoided my calls instead of addressing the issue.

We went in to window shop to furnish our new home Melena approached us and let us know about all their financing options and their new furniture and the features that came with it , we looked around and she as very kind gave us her card and told us whenever we were ready to come back and she’s happy to help, that’s exactly what we did not only did we come back ready to purchase we came to look for Melena to assist in our purchases. The reason being we didn’t feel pressured or obligated to purchase the day of our window shopping she made us comfortable and told us when we we were ready she wasn’t just looking for a sale or to get a number us to wanted us to know what we wanted before purchase and she educated us in doing so, we came back purchased a living room and kitchen set with her and she was great that day as well! I was able to get my table delivered that same week and gave us a later date for our couches but she just let us know we are able to receive them sooner which makes us so happy especially before Christmas!
