My experience at this particular Reeds store is always excellent. My mom and family have been coming to this Pier Park Reeds store since I can remember. My brother in Law proposed to my sister in this store! This is how I came to this store and haven’t been to any other jewelry store since. We’ve bought everything from rings, necklaces, watches, Pandora’s, and bracelets. Every single time the customer service was ON POINT! Everyone is always friendly and knowledgeable on all the pieces in the store. So about 3 years ago my then boyfriend (now husband) went to find me my dream ring. He was going to surprise me and pop the big question on a Disney Cruise with my son. As he’s in the store, working with Jerome, paying for the ring..My ENTIRE family (mom,sisters,nephew, niece and SON) walks in the door! LOL he’s trying to surprise me and my family can’t hold water much less any secrets... he tells everyone he was buying me a pandora charm for a gift. My family is nosey and knew what was up... but they didn’t tell me...he ended up gettin the ring and a pandora charm as decoy... Idk where that pandora charm is to this day... but he proposed in front of 200 ppl and it was perfect! The ring was perfect! He bought the lifetime warranty on my ring just in case I was ever going to lose my diamond... I always thought it was a waste of money... but THANK GOD he did. I bartend for a living and one day I went to stock my beer cooler. I hit my hand so hard against the wall trying to pick up heavy cases of beer that my ring bent and I heard and felt the diamond fall out of my ring... there were drain holes in the beer cooler.. I looked and searched for two days and I couldn’t find my 1 carat princess cut diamond! I was devestated. I called my husband to tell him the bad news... he said that it sucked but at least we have a warranty on it... so... Sunday morning I go in to Jerome and showed him my ring... He was so helpful and nice, as always :) I told him what happened and without hesitation he said NO PROBLEM... we will file a claim and try to get you a replacement... of course he told me that he has to send it off so whoever can inspect it to make sure I didn’t do it myself or whatever.. which is understandable... but he said it totally looks like an accident and I’m sure we will replace it. Within a month I think i got my ring back with a brand New ONE CARAT princess cut diamond without any charge! I was and am still one happy customer! The Reeds TEAM is like family to me and my entire family! We love doing business with them and will continue to forever and ever! Read moreWhen I went in to go engagement ring shopping, I knew almost nothing. I knew I had done some information searching in the past, but I knew what I had read on Wikipedia. I’ve gone to a few other jewelry stores and just happened to walk into Reed’s one Saturday morning.
I met Hillary, who is extremely upbeat and willing to help. She was very patient with me as I made her pull almost every different kind of ring out of the case. I kind of had the idea that when you saw the perfect engagement ring, it was just kind of reach out to you, a lot like a car does. Nothing in the case that she was able to pull out is what we i had envisioned. As we pulled out rings and I didn’t see anything that caught my eye, she asked me to describe what I did not like about the current ring. “Is it too big, too small, too intricate, to ornate, to vintage…”
She informed me that they have started to do some small custom design works and if I could get her a few different samples she may be able to pull something together. I went home didn’t think much about it until couple days later when I had an email from her. It wasn’t what I was looking for, but it was a lot closer than anything else I seen in the store. I knew at this point that Hillary knew her stuff and we would work together to find the perfect engagement ring for Alexis.
About 10 trips to Reed’s, 100 emails, and even more phone calls back-and-forth, we finally decided on one. It took a lot of work but when I saw her when I arrived I knew that was it. The fact that she could take some of my ideas and turn them into something so beautiful is exactly what I was hoping for.
They knew I would be proposing on the cruise, so they gave me a ring spacer Incase it was too big, and a necklace chain Incase it was too small.
We have been back about a dozen other times for everything, it is not the closest to the jewelry store to us but it’s always where we go. They replaced a watch battery for me, took the same amount of custom work for her wedding band, and are working on mine as we speak. Everybody in the store knows us by name, by Alexis’s ring, and our personalities. They are always willing to clean her ring and get it back to new look, and whatever little thing I have needed they’ve reached out and done for us.

We even started looking at pawn shops We drop in on one in PCB, and I happened to see an exquisite ring It had appraisal , but no paper work, but I saw that it was in a Reed's box. Never heard of them, so I googled Reed's and saw that was a well respected jewelry store Later that day, we just happened to park in front of Reed's Jewelers at Pier Park, so of course we went in to just to look. Hillary Turner greeted us with a warm smile . Her personality was a bright and colorful as her hair. She began showed us what she thought we would like and gave us several options. We left and came back 2-3 times and every time Hillary was happy to see us and answered ALL of our questions. Not once did we feel pressured or made to feel like we were taking up her time. She was very knowledgeable and perceptive. I could tell she loved her job and it showed. After spending what might have been hours, we purchase THE perfect ring, which happened to be the VERY first diamond that Hillary showed us.She knocked it out of the park. Reed's had a a jeweler on site to set the diamond and sized the ring for us. They had it ready for us the very next day. I can not express how happy we are. Hillary wasn't able to be there the next day, but she wrote a lovely note and left it in the bag. for us. It brought tears to my eyes when I read it. I found out later that she had only been working there for about a year to my amazement, because she conducted herself like a seasoned professional, which is a true reflection on manager. Chris and I have been in some of the finest jewelry stores from Atlanta to PCB and it was so refreshing to have someone who genuinely wants to help us and not just sale us a ring.
