Waited 20 minutes for ice cream before someone let us know we were in the wrong line and they wouldn’t serve us. Many people in front of us in the same line were served and when we got to the front they very rudely told us we had to get out of the line we were in and move to another one in which we would have spent another 20 minutes waiting. I don’t mind much about the waiting part but just the way in which this was carried out. I don’t think it’s very professional to have someone stand in line for 20 minutes and then when it’s finally their turn you yell at them and say you won’t serve them because they aren’t in line. I had been waiting longer than most people in the store and thought I was last in the right line. When you enter the store there is nothing to indicate where there is a line or isn’t. All there is an enter sign that can be interpreted however because there is no arrow indicating the entrance and exit. This is just very unprofessional and definitely ruined my...
Read moreWe came upon the shop during our one day in Park City. It happened to be the day of the Art Fair outside on Main Street so all of the shops were quite empty. We did not experience the lines that others have described and the staff members were friendly. Being from an area famous for fudge (tourists in our area are called "fudgies"), I wanted to try Rocky Mountain's fudge for comparison. I choose the chocolate fudge with small bits of toffee in it. The flavor was good and the cost ($6) seemed fair. The fudge, itself, was extremely soft and was wrapped tightly in plastic wrap, which seemed to be helping to keep it's shape as a "slice" (very different from the firm, set-up fudge that I'm accustomed to). It was too soft to unwrap completely and was difficult to eat and share. I'm not sure it that soft texture is the norm for their fudge, however, it would be helpful if they provided a small knife (bamboo or biodegradable) with the fudge so that it could be more...
Read moreVery unorganized. When I went into the store there were very clearly two different lines and a sign that said enter in between both lines. One for chocolate and one for ice cream and after waiting 15 minutes in the line for ice cream and finally getting to the front to order, a worker tells everyone that there is only one line and I have to go to the back of a very long line (the chocolate one). I understand that I didn’t know that there was only one line but not only had I waited in that line for 15-20 ish minutes but there were people in front of me in the line that had been served. And instead of the worker serving me, she ignored me, and yelled that I had to wait in the other line. (Even though I had been waiting in the ice cream line for a long time already). I really don’t understand because there were TWO cash registers, one for each line and clearly TWO lines so I just think they need to organize things differently and not...
