UPDATED I had planned to come to Park City for my husband’s birthday. We dressed up nice since this isn’t something we get to do very often. I wore heels thinking we were going to be in and out of the restaurant I planned trying to surprise him for his birthday. I called ahead to make a reservation and it turns out they don’t take reservation and it’s a first come first serve.
When we arrived there was a 3.5 hour wait and weren’t taking any additional names for a waitlist. We decided to walk around and find something else since we were here.
My feet were hurting walking up Main St trying to find another dinner spot. My husband was trying to help me not fall and then this is when we came across Flight Boutique. I immediately notice boots in the window. I said let’s go in here so I can take these shoes off since they aren’t winter wear and see if those boots fit.
I ended up paying an amount I’m not used to spending for some boots and then found out they were actually 25% off on the brand Sorel’s website after wearing the boots out of the store. I couldn’t return because they have been worn for the short period of time. Being a mom of 3 and not being able to do something nice like this very often at all, 25% off means more to me than some people that are shopping here in Park City and anything helps our family.
I emailed the store hoping they could price match the boots I wasn’t intending to buy since I couldn’t return them/already been worn for an hour.
They simply told me no because the sale on Sorel’s website only pertains to the sizes they have leftover on their site- I’ve seen boots from this Sorel brand before in all sizes on sale. Go look at the website and see for yourself. For them to simply only care about the money and not costumer service, is very unattractive to me and it’s more so that I quite honestly can’t afford but did it under circumstances. I would not recommend shopping here and I certainly will not be returning to such an unethical store.
I like to think a local company who expects locals to help support would also support the locals in return. Everyone is going through a trying time so it just doesn’t sit right with me.
Update- I just noticed the same boot I purchased has “popular” sizes still available on sale, just in different colors. I’ve never been so disappointed in a local shop that expects the locals to support them and this is they type of customer service us...
Read moreMain Street Park City is well known for its fine-dining and nightlife that line the mile stretch of Old Town. However, it is the boutiques and exquiste galleries that really catch your eye when spending an afternoon taking in the sights and experiencing our town. As a hotelier in Park City, I send lots of non-skiers to Main Street in the winter seasons. Pointing out great lunch spots and where to pick up Park City memorabilia. We have high end guests that want one of a kind pieces and this is where the boutiques make all the world of a difference. Flight boutique is a personal favorite of mine for off the clock fashion, ranging from clothing, jewelry, shoes, and purses, everything. All the the sales agents are very hands on, and give honest opinions, the customer services is off the charts and personalized. We hear nothing but rave reviews from our guests coming back to the hotel with shopping bags full of must-haves. It's nice to have a place on Main Street that you know you could send literally anyone of your guests to and they are receiving the same friendly service I expect my team members to give them at the hotel. Kudos to the Flight team as they continue to impress, and bring fashion to our...
Read moreAll I can say is that I’ve been shopping at this store for 5 years and I was shocked today when I was met rudely by the lady working because I wasn’t wearing a mask! THERE IS NO MASK MANDATE IN UTAH IF VACCINATED PEOPLE! The lady gave me an angry look and asked if I had a mask..I replied “no I do not”, she shrugged and said she might have one for me in the back. I said “thanks, but no thanks” and quickly exited the store.
I proceeded down Main Street and was greeted with smiles and hospitality at other clothing stores while maskless. I will not be shopping at Flight again after my encounter with...
