Benjamin Franklin Bridge S. Walkway pedestrian entrance PA — Local services in Philadelphia

This is a great place to run, walk, or ride in Philly. It's about a mile and a quarter across, so it's an easy way to get about a three mile run in. Plus, when you are finished you can say that you ran into a new state. On the New Jersey side the path ends at the Rutgers-Camden campus, which is quite pretty. The other added benefit is that the PA side is quite close to the historic sites around Independence Hall, which adds another easy and interesting mile or so...

My mom and I decided to walk to the bridge for the first time today! I decided to run back. Tough ~1.47 mile run back to Camden haha. The elevation gain surprised me. Now that I’m familiar with the run I’ll adjust my pace accordingly. Looking forward to incorporating this run into my weekly schedule.
