HOLY MOLY!! I love this med spa! I walked in and met Sherie at the front desk. She was so welcoming and friendly. The place is gorgeous. I live in New York City and started seeing injector Deanna Garvey when she first started her career as an Aesthetic RN injector. So, when she told me she was leaving NYC, did I switch and find someone else? HELLLL NO!! When you find someone with the talent and the experience she has, you stick with them. I'm devoted to her and yes, I travel from NYC to see her. If you're a New Yorker reading this, she's worth the trip. Just tell them you're coming so they can reserve the time for you and get your Amtrak ticket! This is what you should know while working with Deanna; her bedside manner is impeccable and you immediately feel a sense of calmness. She will study your face in such detail, like an artist creating a piece of work (because she is). She's upfront, honest, and will guide you through your aesthetic journey. This time I got Restylane Lyft and the new product Daxxify. I was so excited to try it due to it's long lasting results and it kicks in faster than Botox or Dysport. For me it took 24 hrs. if not less to start working. I hate writing critical reviews, but I am still in pain two months after facial filler. I can't use my face rollers 2 months post-filler because it hurts to put pressure anywhere there were injections. It also aches to rest my hand on my chin. I went here to help with my insecurities related to my under eyes and my jawline. I was told I would absolutely need cheek filler to balance my jawline, and under eye filler. Ok, fine. The under eye filler was at my first appointment with PRP; the filler was painful and I was out of work for a few days from the swelling. The PRP was fine and affordable, this is the only treatment I can truly recommend. I regret returning for facial filler. My cheek filler makes my under eyes more hollow which was my biggest concern in doing it, and it happened. Now my biggest insecurity is now worse. And my face hurts to touch. I messaged my injector who told me this all seemed normal. My gut feeling was that it is not. I called and messaged about dissolving the filler, and they were kind and offered me appointments to come in; but truthfully, for me it is not worth taking an uber 40 minutes into the city to have it looked at.
