I purchased a Mother of Pearl bracelet for a friend who loved Gorjana jewelry. I ordered the bracelet online and had it send to my friend as a birthday present. Within a month and a half the pearl had fallen off and was nowhere to be found. We were recently on a girls trip and I asked about the bracelet. Reluctantly she told me it had broken. I was so embarrassed and said that I would reach out to the company to get a replacement as they had a lifetime "happiness guarantee" When I reached out to customer service they would not help me because they considered the item "lost" and not broken because I could not produce a picture. They would not help me at all. When I explained to my friend they wouldn't replace she told me that she wasn't surprised because another item she had purchased from Gorjana had also broke. This review is not based on the store but the company itself. I am from Washington and I placed an order online to pick up in store but I was still charged the sales tax. I’ve always picked up in Oregon and didn’t have to pay sales tax for other companies .
