I took myself out for my 30th birthday, and had a lovely day around downtown Portland. One of my main goals, was to find a dress for dinner that night. I went to many stores - but unfortunately the ones I wanted to purchase from were closed on Tuesdays. No biggie, still checked anthropology, Nordstrom, etc. Then I came upon this store. When I entered, I was not even greeted, which made me feel very uncomfortable, since I had to ring a doorbell to be let in. I looked around and waited for someone to say anything to me, but no one did. Even though i saw many sales people helping other customers and some just standing around. I asked the salesperson if they had a dress that was displayed on the wall in my size. Her response: “oh, maybe but it’s” then proceeds to show me the tag. Uh, okay? If you knew anything about contemporary fashion, you would know I was wearing a $600 Selkie dress in your store, but I digress. I say that I’d like to try it on if they do have my size, she grabs it and puts it in the dressing room, then I grab another dress and proceed to try them on.

One of the dresses fits perfectly, and is exactly what I was looking for. Very elegant and perfect for where we were going for dinner. However, because of the way I was treated, I ended up not purchasing this dress.

I purchased an item from eBay from this company. When I placed the hooks in alcohol and then removed them, the paint literally came off the earrings and onto my fingers! This is what Beth had to say via eBay. "It is indeed unfortunate that you did that. There is no such warning much like you would not put a warning on them not to place in any other chemical. While we understand that this may cause us to lose you as a customer, we are unable to replace them for you. It is fairly common knowledge that you should never place any painted earrings in any chemical, regardless if you have done so before, without knowing the outcome." BUYER...

This is a beautifully curated store with a warm and welcoming staff. Sarah approached us with her lovely smile and asked us if we needed help. She pointed me right to the sales rack first, which I appreciated. She also was helpful when I sought her guidance, but also gave me space to try on each piece and ponder them on my own! If you appreciate stylish and well made clothing, go visit them. I live in Bend, but will definitely be back for future...
