When I was shopping, my boyfriend stumbled upon this place and surprised me by getting my ring reshaped from its very smooshed oval shape back into a circle. He was chatting with Leonard about his projects, and having a good time distracting him from getting his work done, I'm sure, but Leonard was very nice and answered all of his questions. He told us how he makes jewelry and about his different tools, which was fun to learn about.

While we were there, Leonard pointed out how delicate my ring had become over the years of wear. It was very thin and starting to separate in places, so reshaping it was tricky. He showed me under a microscope where the ring was worn down.

My dad got me the ring in Mexico on my 16th birthday, and I've worn it everyday since then. I'm in my 30's now, for reference...it's been on my hand for over than half of my life. My dad passed away, so I need this ring to last.

I asked if he could fix it, and he did me one better: he said he could make a mold of it and create a copy, but make it a bit thicker so it would last longer. That way, I can put my prized ring somewhere safe, but still have one to wear without worrying about it breaking.

I just got the new ring back today, and it's absolutely perfect! Did I tear up when I opened it? Maybe....

Recently relocated to the area and It was by accident we came across this adorable jewelry shop in Beautiful St. Augustine, FL. but NO accident really because someone up above put us in this shop for a reason :) I am ever so grateful for you Mr. Myers for repairing my wedding ring that I have not been able to wear for almost 3 years as I have been scared to leave it with just any Jeweler as that is how it was damaged. I'm from Canada and I am very fussy and picky with my jewlery, I was in St. Augustine when I needed a repair on one of my jewlery when someone recommended this local store in the heart of downtown. I brought in my jewlery that needed repairs and jewlery i wanted to upgrade with better quality. The owner of the store, Mr.Myers, customized my pieces so beautifully and professionally exactly as I wanted that I was impressed very much. I wanted to thank Mr. Myers for such fine work you did at such a reasonable price. Thank you again.
