PC Innovation Computers — Local services in Saint George

These guys up-sell like absolute crazy. I bought a GTX 1060 3gb graphics card from in-store for nearly $270 not knowing they were a mere $190 TOPS on Amazon! They won't tell you this, of course. They are simply looking for quick bucks with no justification behind the nearly $100 mark up. CRAZY. For that price, I could have gotten a graphics card with DOUBLE the amount of vRam for $30 cheaper anywhere else. I wish I could get a refund or replacement.

I also had some work done on a custom build. I had them install a new cpu and mobo which took weeks to get back. They had to ship out my desktop to an off-site tech to get the work done, which took much, much longer than if I chose to go to a different tech shop that works on your computer on-site.. When I called to get an ETA I would keep getting generic responses or simply "we don't have an ETA yet, we'll get back to you.. blah blah..."

If you need a computer repaired or would like to add custom parts I recommend GlitchBusters. Those guys will tell you exactly what you are going to pay and ensure you understand what you are getting before they will take a penny from you, & depending on your needs they recommend the best product for you specifically. They have definitely done right by me.

I cannot say enough about Adam and Kevin at PC Innovation Computers!

I took my laptop to PC Innovation Computers and spoke to Adam what I was experiencing with my laptop. He said it sounded like a hard drive problem and that he would look into it and get back to me. He contacted me the next day and confirmed that it was the hard drive and that he went ahead and replaced it with another and improved hard drive but detected the mother board was failing. He didn’t think it would be worth it for me to invest more money since it was a 5 year old laptop.

I purchased a new laptop from Costco and took it to Adam to transfer all my files, my personal folders in Outlook, all the required software, and whatever else needed to be done for me to be able to use it when I took it home. Between Adam and Kevin I was able to have a functional laptop once again!

The care and the time that was invested by Adam and Kevin went above and beyond, and I will not be going anywhere else with any future related computer issues. They have won my trust, my confidence in their expertise, knowledge and integrity.

I highly recommend them and I would give them more than a five stars...

PC Innovations has been providing me with PC desktops for 15 years. Prior to this current new build, their previous PC lasted me a decade with some upgrades. I was able to use both photoshop and lightroom on a decade old chip, RAM, and Motherboard because they built me a machine to last.

My newest Windows 10/11 rig is lightning fast and boots up to use in less than 6 seconds. My Lightroom exporting has gone from minutes to seconds for small sets (less than 40 photos). Large photo sets are a breeze to edit and grade while the import is running in the background .

More importantly, my new rig seems like it is more energy efficient. Knowing it can restart in 5-6 seconds makes it easier to turn off. Before I was always a choice of how long did you want to wait to load all the OS and programs. Now "off" happens daily, not weekly.
