I wish I could put negative stars as the experience was SO bad. Scam!!! Save your money and just go to the mall or online. The only positive thing is the booths that were open had cute things but between spending SO much to get in and it being so cold it wasnât worth stopping.
NOTHING was as depicted online: Train - not working and not really a train so much as a sad lil thing that shouldnât be used commercially. Booths - few open, some unmanned or not even set up Skating rink - small and a joke set up on the other side of the mall. THAT iS ONLY AVAILABLE AT AN ADDITIONAL COST!!! Christmas lights - few and dark and dreary Activities - WHERE??? Inflatable slide - yes but note, it is a single cheap slide. Nightly Parade - long wait for a train not coming. Car giveaway - up to $30,000 yeah right. Lol they can just pick a relative and give them a $5 and call it good. Couldnât see where to enter for that and see the picture online that shows you canât even buy tickets to enter.
Nothing included in the ticket price was either available or if it were was worth it. With âWe Win Injury Lawâ as a sponsor youâd think theyâd pay more attention to false advertising.
For an event geared for children youâd think that itâd be child safe? Nope, cords everywhere, dim lighting (yeah really festive) and didnât see anyone even trying to make things right.
So basically you pay an exorbitant price for the privilege of walking around a mall parking lot in front of some nasty restaurant? đ¤˘đ¤Ž
Shall I mention the few 5 star reviews? Can you make it more obvious that your family is putting in reviews? Or did they pay someone to do it? Thereâs a lot that goes wrong the first year in an event, but rudeness to vendors and customers as other reviewers have pointed out, that has NOTHING to do with standard first year issues. Every vendor and customer involved in this âeventâ should sue for breach of contract and false...
Read moreWe went to this event tonight and spend $100 for my family to go. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. This event was a total scam, and was completely depicted in a very deceiving way. When we arrived at 5:15 PM, the event was not fully set up, people were still plugging in Christmas trees with cords all around and it was completely unsafe for children to be running around. There were about three out of 12 vendors open and remotely anything festive. There were minimal Christmas lights, and it didnât seem like a Christmas event at all. The train was not working, and we were told to come back at another date; however, we came from California so that was not an option for us. When we went to the front to discuss our concern and how we felt cheated and deceived by this event, and what it appeared to be online versus what it was (also, did I mention that there is no Ice slide at all even though it says there is and the ice-skating rink is literally a small square rink all the way across the mall), we spoke with a Lauren Harwood, who is supposedly the founder and organizer of the event. She was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional to my family, and I. We expressed, that as the event opened at 5:00 PM. Everything on her list should be available because people are coming with families and children that need to go to bed. She said oh Iâm sorry your kid hast to go to bed early. Just extremely unkind and rude and didnât offer an ounce of understanding, even though sheâs completely scamming people, and taking a significant amount of money and not providing 1/3 of what she said. In my opinion, she should be held accountable for lying and taking peoples money, and not providing what she said she would. Itâs not OK and I do not recommend this event nor supporting anything...
Read moreWent last night had a blast with my family. Best Christmas event in stgeorge Iâve been too. Only thing that âsurprisedâ me was the quality of Santa, very disappointing, with such a well advertised event I was expecting an authentic Santa⌠my children 7 and younger were not fooled and this completely ruined the Santa experience, maybe a bit emotional but made me want to cry that my children knew he was fake as soon as we walked in the door that was so well presented. Everything else was amazing, buddy the elf- hilarious, the grinch- awesome all around. Reindeer- was a great experience, space was small but they seemed to be resting. The train- longest line but I think we waited 15 minutes from Elsa the photo op, really not bad for the privacy and personalization of the experience they put into it all. The elves around the village were kind, sweet and had great attitudes. Missed mrs. Clause kitchen- also would have been great to see a more authentic mrs. Clause. I will definitely go again, really hope admin sees this and upgrades to authentic Santa next year as I feel this should have been the most magical moment for my kids. He didnât give a big âHo Ho Hoâ when we entered, it was a bit awkward entering in, the room was very empty compared to the rest of the village. Very well and thought out event, I know a ton of work went into this and it shows. Thank you đ 5 stars next year with better...
