Despite the lovely lines of clothing and nice selection of Brighton and Vera Bradley items I will never patronize this store again. My husband purchased an item for my birthday and was told if I did not like it I was to come back in and exchange it for anything I'd like. One week later and ten minutes prior to closing today we went in to exchange earrings for a necklace. Three people told me within 10 seconds that they were about to close and fussed about allowing the exchange. It took me approximately 3 minutes to pick out a necklace, then they took way too much time to figure out the difference between what I was purchasing, what I was returning and what I owed. I am a 11 year local, today i walked in looking around and was horrified. The mailman walked in and handed the lady behind the desk the mail. I said bills every month...just being friendly. She replied nothing is free I smiled and kept on browsing. Then she says unless you cross the border from Mexico I was disgusted. I walked around for 5 more minutes then asked if it was her store she said no. I told her she should be careful what she says. I was born in Mexico. She makes Classy Republicans like myself look bad. While on vacation we visited this boutique. Kay greeted us with a smile and proceeded to help us with outfit selections. We purchased several items, but my dress is my favorite. I receive so many compliments when I wear it. Funny thing is I would have never picked it off the rack but Kay encouraged me to try it on and I’m so happy she did.
