I love this creative concept!! The shop was so welcoming from the smell of caramelization when you enter to the rows and rows of colorful bags of popcorn. The woman at the counter was so friendly and happy to share about the shop, owner, choice of variety, favorite flavors, seasonal treats and vividly described the different options. There are at least 20 different flavors ranging from sweet or sour to spicy or savory. There are variations of cheese, buffalo, candy and cookies while also doing combo flavors like “pizza” or “chocolate covered strawberries”. The bags are packed tight with popcorn making the price a complete bargain. This opinion is based on the experience of purchasing one (1) gourmet donuts/cookie for at least $5. While the bags are priced around $10, it’s a multi serving size opportunity (in girl math, I’m saving money going with gourmet popcorn where I can snack multiple times vs. a one encounter donut/cookie). If you are looking for basic or “normal” flavors, this is a good place to expand your horizons. Based on the flavors I saw, there is something for everyone! While I walked away with more bags than I originally intended (there’s a deal where you receive a free bag with the purchase of 3 bags). Having so many flavors has given me the chance to share the flavors I purchased with friends and neighbors. The flavors are so wild and a fun opportunity to try something different. I highly recommend stopping in if only out of curiosity. I plan on picking up a couple bags next time I’m going to a get together with friends - it’s a unique tasting experience!

Cute local spot! I really love their creative flavors that I never expected. I tried the cheese pizza and the sweet & spicy Thai peanut popcorn today. 🍕🧀The cheese pizza one is bold and tasty, but it’s kinda soft and not crispy at all. The staff was nice and gave me the new one, which was also soft. I let him taste it and he said this is how it should be. So I’ll it go and well…just eat it lol. 🌶️🥜The Sweet & Spicy Thai Peanut isn’t my fav. I didn’t really taste the spiciness or the peanut. It’s more like sugar with a super bright red color and a weird aftertaste, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, I think it’s too expensive, $25 for two bags of popcorn, but it was a fun experience. Definitely nice to try! You might find the new flavors you like here. And yes I might go for something more classic with sugar coated like salted caramel, French toast, PB & J next time.

Our visit can only be explained as “odd.” When we walked in, the one worker didn’t greet us, or acknowledge us. There was no spiel about the products or what the buy 3 get the fourth free deal was. I was hoping they’d have traditional buttered popcorn bagged up like all the other flavors, but no luck. There was some stale looking non buttered popcorn in a case at the desk, but it didn’t look great. I did end up purchasing kettle corn, which is really good, but the check out process was not one of friendly customer service. The worker and maybe a friend or another worker were busy chit chatting, didn’t say hi, or anything to us. It seemed we were disturbing them.

I’ve lived in Salem for about four years now and finally got to stop in.

The person behind the counter didn’t give much info. She handed me two pages, front and back, of choices for popcorn flavors.

One important note: I was looking for an inexpensive snack. It’s getting tiresome to pay 20 bucks for a mediocre lunch and I just needed something small and inexpensive. Popcorn seemed logical.

I’ve also been to a few other popcorn places. You order, they scoop it out of the bin. Five bucks and you’re good to go.

The menu truly has too many choices (definitely paradox of choice). I settled on s’mores. I was surprised when she walked over and grabbed a bag of prepackaged popcorn off a shelf, but since it was my first time— lesson learned.

I had my dog with me and asked if I could get some whipped cream for her. Normally whipped cream will be $.50 or free of charge, or places will charge you a few bucks for a pup cup of ice cream. I was charged two dollars for a small cup of whipped cream (which is quite a markup).

When the total for a side of whipped cream and some popcorn came to $17, I was pretty frustrated. My dog loves whipped cream but wouldn’t eat it. The cashier then tells me it’s vegan. The popcorn itself was way too sweet and we had ended up tossing it.

They can, of course, charge and operate how they want. But it would have been great to know that it was 15 dollars for popcorn. Or that the whipped cream was two dollars. And vegan.

Just an odd experience and too expensive for...
