Partridge in a Bear Tree — Local services in Salem

If I could give this place no stars I would, but the one star I’m obligated to give this place can be for the Salem gifts alone. It’s obvious the owner does not have to care about returning customers, and treats them as such. Her store is reliant on passing through tourists. She will “welcome” you with a glare before returning to her clutter . Don’t dare ask her for help or ask a question, she will look at you like you have two heads like you’ve offended her. God forbid you accidentally drop a piece of merchandise off one of her fire-hazard, cluttered shelves- she will rush over and ask aggressively “DID YOU BREAK IT?!” Even if the item is unscathed making it clear she cares more about her objects than her customers. Her “customer service skills” or rather lack of there of, was bothersome to another customer in the store, who left when we did to meet us outside and speak about the owners horrible mannerisms- a true witch of Salem...

This is the CUTEST little store in Salem! It was my favorite. The owners are SO nice, friendly and helpful. You must visit! Prices are great and you can find anything from clothes (witchy shawl cover-ups, shirts, sweatshirts, scarves) to home decor (Halloween decor art to kitchen towels), candles (smell amazing), to small gifts (mugs, magnets, keychains, Halloween face masks, even Halloween Christmas ornaments) and...

The woman working april 24th is a wonder amazing cashier. Whether she owns that spot or not she sure has made a customer out of us when we come back that way. Her customer service skills is truly outstanding. We got 3 ornaments and a sweat shirt... The bill came out a bit more than expected but she did a little hocus pocus and my fiancée mentioned it on our 4 hour drive home... If you see this... You are a good...
