Rocket Fizz — Local services in Salt Lake City

This was my first time going to Rocket Fizz at City Creek, Salt Lake City. I was looking for sugar free candy, not as much for me as it was for one of my nephews that is also diabetic. I found an excellent variety. However, what impressed me the most was the kindness of the staff. In particular Brandon, a cashier, who gave me conversation that it felt so real, interested in me and not only a “how you doing, did you find everything you need?” But real conversation, making me feel good with his friendly disposition. I mentioned to my sister when I exited the store how nice that young guy was. I told him I was not living in the States, but I was actually visiting family and friends, and he said “if I don’t see you again I hope you have a great stay” Who does that?! He’s attention towards me made me feel special and appreciated as a customer. Of course this is not just good training at work but rather a good education from home. I have to give five stars because rocket fizz went above and beyond for me. I was looking for grape soda in a glass bottle for a camp that I am in charge of. I believe the associate I spoke with on the phone name is Johnny. He said they have a bunch of different options of grape soda and he went above and beyond to research what soda would be most similar to our camp theme from the movie UP. Johnny even looked to make sure they had enough bottles of soda before I drove an hour from home to city creek to purchase them. The gentleman at the store today were so kind, and they both deserve a bonus for going above and beyond. I am sorry that I didn’t get the other gentleman’s name but him and Johnny were great. Dear owner, please give them a raise!

Great place to find obscure drinks.

I love this place nostalgic candy and soda all around you. What I like to get and suggest is the Macfuddy equivalent to Dr Pepper but it doesnt taste expired and all the Faygo drinks in a bottle, I never had Faygo and discovered that it actually taste really good and noticed it is hard to find in stores locally. And no you dont have to be an idiotic Juggalo to drink it either. Faygo is an old drink from Detroit in 1907 it only gained traction as being an idiotic Juggalo drink because the horrible band ICP is from Michigan and they spray it to on their fans as if it is a glorified clown orgy party.

But that being said please do come here and enjoy their wide variety of drinks here. Also be adventurous you may find a hidden gem that I dont even know about. There was a drink in particular, the company was from 1932 and the logo had an old train on it and was strawberry flavored, if you find that please pick it...
