I went in yesterday and I got a turkey bacon avocado combo with chips a drink and a pastry. You would think that would be a pretty easy thing to get together, I went when they were not busy and there was no line whatsoever. I was in a hurry and I left and I did not get not get my chips, which the chips weren't the issue. I asked for my order to go with the counter they took my name and they brought it out not to go, and when I asked the counter cashier if I could get it to go she gave me an attitude and told me she could bring me a box and I can put it in the box and bag myself which that's not my job if I ordered something to go it should be ready and prepared to go, the cashier also gave me an extreme attitude because I asked her if I could get it put in a bag and have them put it in a to go form which I already previously asked for when I paid for my order which was nearly $20. I like to say that it was my mistake because I did not look in the bag before I left but I should not have to look into a bag to see if my order is complete because I work in customer service and I always get people's orders correct because if I did not my head would be chopped off. I got home and realized that my chips were missing which the chips make the sandwich what's a sandwich without chips? Exactly. I called and spoke to the general manager Desiree and she said she would make it right so I came in today (the next day) after a very long and stressful day at work and she paid for my meal and I got the exact same thing and the chips were missing which I again did not check the order because she said that I would be taken care of, and that it shouldn't be an issue for me to check the bag because the order should be completed if you ask for something to go. But alas the chips were not in the bag and I had to walk all the way back to kneaders after I walked 15 minutes away to get the chips. I definitely would not be going here again unless the cashier at the counter is fired or shapes up or is able to use her eyes to see if an order is correct. I gave the manager a chance to make it correct but it was the same issue as the day before. Lost a customer and I will be...
Read moreOrdered online. When I went to pick it up, they couldn't find my order. Luckily I had a printout of it with me (which I took because of previous ordering issues at this location). So she handed me a sack with a salad in it. I said: I had a lot more than that. She looks at my receipt, proceeds to get the other items (I had to remind her about the bread), asked me what size of apple juice I wanted (I told her whatever was supposed to come with the combo meal because apparently it's my job to know this), and then had to choose a different dessert since they were out of the one I ordered. I was a little annoyed, but still not that annoyed. At this point as she handed me the order with quite a bit of attitude, as if I were putting her out by wanting all of the items I'd paid for. I thanked her, she grunted and turned away. I get back to my office, and the first thing I see is that they put onions on the salad even though I'd asked for none. Okay, still not that big of a deal - they're easy enough to pick off. Then I see there's ranch dressing. What? I didn't change the dressing selection ... and then realized it was the wrong salad. It was a turkey bacon avocado salad, with someone else's name on it, and not the turkey cranberry salad I ordered. Now I'm definitely frustrated as I don't have time to go back and get the correct salad, and I don't care for avocado, bacon, or for ranch dressing. So basically I have $8 worth of lettuce and a little turkey. And I guarantee someone else is also frustrated as she got my salad - although maybe she also got all of the extras I'd paid for (soup, chips, drink, dessert) because those would be listed on the correct receipt with the correct salad. So maybe she thinks she scored, even if she did get the wrong salad! This location really needs to fix their ordering issues, and their attitude toward customers. Usually Kneaders is one of my favorite places to eat. Luckily the one near my house is much better...
Read moreThis makes me sad to write, but perhaps the owners will do something if they read reviews. Iâm only leaving this review now because this is the only Kneaders location that Iâve had multiple visits that were very disappointing. My daughter and I stopped in and the entire lobby was filthy. Food and garbage everywhere on the tables despite only a few patrons being in the dining area. While we had friendly staff, there just wasnât enough people to keep things going in a positive way. There was garbage littering the drink station as well as lobby, but there was utensils and product filled. I ordered a slice of pie for myself and the entire bottom crust was apparently not a part of my pie for me, left somewhere in the pan for me to wonder about. The grilled cheese sandwich took an exceptionally long time to come out for my daughterâs kids meal, it was almost cold when she got it though. Put together haphazardly for such an easy meal. We were just stopping in for a quick bite, but for $15 we definitely couldâve gotten a better experience elsewhere. I wonât be patronizing this location again. It seems they never have enough staff to make the time spent here a positive one. The last time we were here it was a similar disappointment with the food and wait time. Good luck Kneaders. Perhaps you should be paying your staff more considering everything on the menu has gone up in price by at...
