5 star and I am not a sports person!! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this museum during our Saturday walk and I’m so happy we did. Bruce was absolutely wonderful, he was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing his own insight into sports history and Utah in general, and letting us go at our own pace but popping in to suggest and share what we should do next based off of our own interests. He was also helping other customers at the same time. Truly sweet and thoughtful guy who made every walk-in feel welcomed and valued. We spent around 2 hours in the different rooms exploring sports history- there’s a perfect mix of nostalgia and modernity. It’s high tech: large scrolling touch screens to choose which hall of famers highlights to watch, a room of memorabilia and sports uniforms, even a section with 4-6 VR sets to wear and participate in luge. Great for all ages, little ones and older ones. Thanks Bruce for a visit we’ll never forget 😊 we learned a lot and we’re happy we stopped in. Highly recommend to...
Read moreFantastic museum with a lot of specific memorabilia that captures every decade of history in Utah sports. The kind gentleman running the exhibit was gracious in giving me a few special stories about the photos and other collectibles present in the museum. There are a lot of cool, interactive features that are fun and informative for both kids and adults. I loved the specific highlight of each sportsperson via photo, organized by decade. It's a great tribute to the incredible athletes who have represented Utah across time. The last part of the exhibit highlights the Utah Jazz, and there are several photos and momentos from the '97 and '98 Finals Run seasons -- very special and nostalgic. This is an incredible and unassuming gem in City Creek. Please take a visit and help support this non-profit so we can keep this important...
Read moreI had a great time touring the Utah Sports Hall of Fame Museum. The museum had beautiful display cases of sports memorabilia with well written columns on the athletes inducted into the Hall of Fame. The gentleman working at the museum was extremely polite and knowledgeable on all of the athletes in the museum and he definitely has a passion for not only sports but the museum as well. The museum also has interactive touch screens where visitors can search for certain athletes and they also had a very neat interactive spot where you can measure how tall you are compared to some of the athletes. Would highly recommend this to any and all sports historians and to help the museum continue to be apart of the beautiful city...
